  1. How are the condition of the camshafts in the stock head? if they are good and you are willing to ship id like to purchase them. I live in Canada BC tho so shipping would most likely be expensive. Please get back to me at [email protected] as soon as possible Address is V1B 2M6 Canada BC Thanks
  2. I tried it throttle open and closed, i have yet to pull the head off but I pulled the valve covers off and the exhaust valves are all stuck open slightly and all the intake valves are closed and in perfect condition, all the valves move, cams spin and its all timed correctly. Is it a common thing for an engine thats been sitting for 6 months or w.e it is to have valves stick for any possible reason, I want to leave pulling the head as my last resort assuming the exhaust valves are bent... Thanks alot for your help
  3. . needed 10 posts for pm...
  4. Ya, sorry i didnt mention that, the starter goes engine spins everything is as it should be except the no compression part....
  5. I just recently did a rb25 swap into my r32, I cannot get the car to start, turns out there's no compression in any of the cylinders, I purchased the motor from a reliable seller who says they tested the compression and replaced the timing belt and all was good. I didn't mess around with the timing or remove the cams so I don't believe there is any possible way I could have bent the valves, let alone all of them. the only thing I did mess around with while trying to get it started is the cas, is it possible that's the cause of no compression? and if not does anyone have an idea what else could be causing the problem? I have yet to pull the head off to check the valves.... Also its a series 2 rb25 and it has hydraulic valves Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks
  6. This is the first swap I have ever done and its somewhat of a learning experience, I have found plenty of help on these forums but i cant seem to find anything related to coil packs not firing, even if someone has a picture of an rb20 harness on an rb25 series 2 motor it would be a great help . Thanks, Steve
  7. No one has ever done this same swap before?
  8. Ya I have kind of realized a few things i should have done differently now but its a little late to use the rb25 harness...
  9. Hey guys im just wondering if anyone would be able to help me out. I have swapped an rb25 series 2 into my r32 and I am using the rb20 harness, switching over the injector plugs and the coil pack plugs, removing the amplifier box from the harness and going straight into the coil pack plugs due to the series 2 using internal amplifiers. Everything seems to be hooked up correctly and working fine, starter turns, fuels getting to the injectors but i can not get and spark from the spark plugs. If anyone has completed this swap before and knows how to wire the coil packs correctly it would be greatly appreciated if you would help me out Thanks
