  1. Thank you very much for that, the car was cold (I warm it up a little before driving, but needle was still just above the first line), would this cause the engine to stop, or do I have a larger problem? Really appreciate the advice, and sorry for the stupid questions, will search the forum now for cat temp sensor so I know what to unplug. Steely
  2. Hi All Sorry I haven't posted in a while, and hate to just ask for help, but the R33 died on the way to work this morning, and I was hoping one of you experts could give me a quick diag, as I don't have the service manual for the car. Was driving as normal, when I either lost ignition or lost the fuel pump, she'll still turn over, fuses look ok, but won't start. Attached is a picture of the error light it's showing when I crank it over, really hoping someone can advise me on this Thanks in advance! Steely
  3. I've found and bought a car in Sydney Mate, but your car is a beauty, good luck with your sale!
  4. Mods, please close the thread, car is bought! Thank you very much to everyone who PM'd me their cars, and also for all being so honest about them, it's been very appreciated. Good luck with your sales everyone. and here's an online IOU, Raf, I owe you $350 Mate
  5. Bump!, c'mon, I know there's a stocker somewhere in Sydney, don't make me take my money south of the border!
  6. Sorry, have subscribed to the forum, got to the thread from an email link, didn't see the title
  7. Congrats to you and the new owner!!
  8. Yep, Melbourne is no prob if nothing I fancy turns up this week, actually looking forward to driving it back
  9. It's a nice 33, but am looking for something in sydney (at least this week), thank you for posting though Also thanks to the 2 members that PM'd me today, both nice cars, keeping one in mind (the 32), but still seeking that elusive near-stock Skyline. I know that is a very rare thing, but they're out there.
  10. That looks really nice!
  11. On the way to work this morning, red light, I'm sitting at least 50 meters from the actual traffic light, the guy in front of me sticks it in reverse and backs right into me!! I'd left a good 4 feet of space in front, but the guy behind me didn't leave any room, so all I could do was beep! No damage thankfully, but damn it was annoying! [/rant over] Steely
  12. Looking for a manual, turbo '32 or '33, as stock as possible. Wheels are ok, and even a 3 inch pipe, but it's going to be a daily driver, so I don't want to stand out too much. (would prefer standard airbox also) Examples of the kind of thing I'm after In a '33, R.C's car (deposit taken I believe) http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sa...35#entry5359135 In an '32, something like this http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/privat...id=1298925A5B00 (has busted rear suspension somehow) Basically, I've wanted a Skyline since I watched them eat fords and holdens at Bathurst, and have recently come into a small inheritance that makes it possible. Please note, I will be sending these guys around to do a comprehensive inspection, so please, no bent or rusty cars. http://www.stateroads.com.au/index.asp Am looking to buy this weekend, not looking to low-ball anyone, but I do realise it's a buyers market, so show me ya Skylines Sydneysiders, or I'll have to drive something back from Melbourne Steely
  13. After further thought, am going to do a WTB for a similar sydney car, if nothing suitable by the weekend, I will call to talk the sphincter of the universe. Assume you have no problem with me arranging an inspection on it if we go further? Steely
  14. if still for sale will call you tomorrow (tuesday) Steely
  15. Sorry, not proceeding with this, it's an awesome car though!, good luck with selling it. Steely
  16. No worries, am just waiting on another owner (not from here I don't think) to get back to me, will give them until tomorrow night. (they got back to me first, so I'll see that car first) Steely
  17. Hi cmoney Can't reply to your PM as I don't have enough posts. This does look like a nice car, will keep it in mind, no promises though, I don't want to stuff anyone around! but was wondering if you had better quality/more photos of it? Steely
  18. I'm too much of a board-newb to PM, but I'm interested, and it's within my budget. Could I ask what the rego situation is?, also where in syd is it located Mate? Steely
  19. gotcha, if (drop_soap=yes then bums to the wall)
  20. Well, I've been lurking for a few days now, just getting a feel for the place, and I have to say, I like it here! So, umm, here we are, ahem, ok, not currently a Skyline owner, but in the market for my first one at the moment (at the age of 38, about time I reckon!) Currently driving a 93 NX coupe (was the cheapest way to get behind an SR20 ) So yeah, thanks for having me, hope to be a contributor, and will post pix when I finally find what I'm after Skyline-wise. Steely
