  1. Because the other car is still acclerating at a similar rate to the car with traction, i found this very common with skylines- Then once the other car gets full traction, 9/10 it will be out acceling its opponent. The beauty of RWD and a lack of D/T losses.
  2. lol there were a few people that applied when i originally did, who were dumb enough to smoke pot in the car park. These guys and the ones who were picked on at school 9/10 get weeded out and dont go right through thank god-
  3. As im training to be a cop at the mo, we get chipped V6 commodores (executives/ S) and the standard AU falcons. The commodore would be a good race for my stock auto R31 3litre, the falcon 4litres have alot more power, If the commodore made much over 100rwkw i would be suprised. Although we had a executive up to 190 on the motorway under blue and reds hehe :headspin:
  4. lol considering the most boring parts of the last DVD/'s were when they went to the aussie/ US car shows. if i see another Cyber honda or one of those gay lancer coupes you guys have infactuations with (well not you guys as you own skylines, but other guys) i think ill scream- HO5 was great, better than the last BS one. Alot of the other stuff in them is more relavant to us though, as its local.Hence why you probably find it boring. Pretty much works both ways as we have very different car scenes in our countrys.
  5. Funny i have heard quite the opposite, about how they chuck there toys at around 400BHP>? Quite a few caldinas GTT's etc putting rods out the side of the block all on a relatively stock 3SGTE- And after looking around abit its actually really common.
  6. What do you mean? Like completely different headlights, or different bulbs, or XENON/ HID kits etc?
  7. lol good effort, im not sure how the hell you managed to kill 3 on standard boost but thats pretty special dude lol Take it easy on the 34, those turbos cost a wee bit more. I guess you could buy in bulk? lol Cheers
  8. Awsome, glad it helped. BTW nice work with the info. Cheers
  9. i think it sounds like turbo seals myself from personal experience with your symptons
  10. I thought it was 108.7? Ahh well, i couldnt actually remember, and i knew if i put up roughly what it was you would correct me anyway hahaha~ Hence the "optimistc" ness, you would notice it faster lmao
  11. hehe i agree. Go with a RB25 turbo, they are excellent on RB20's
  12. R33 Krazy, let us know how your leak down/ compression tests get on, my car did exactly the same thing, thought it was a piston/ ringland. Did a compression test, turned out to be mint, all my issues have been turbo related~ Bolted up a RB25 turbo and fixed everything-
  13. Ill vouch that the surfaces we are using are far below average, traction definately seemed as bad if not worse than our local strips from what i could tell.
  14. If you do it correctly, there is no difference in how it will drive, and i dont see why it should effect resale. As long as the inhibitor is looped so the car always thinks its in N (as far as the engine is concerned) it will run fine. I had been running around on the standard diff/ auto ECU for ages till i changed to a IMPUL ecu, and it went fine, my gearing actually worked out slightly taller than a factory manual, so im thinking it must at least have a 4.1 in there.. Auto ECU runs slightly more advanced timing, so you need to be careful with boost, but 9/10 a manual conversion car will be faster than a factory 5spd due to the diff and ECU. This is the case with 32's anyway.
