very interesting guys, so many factors involved to build a quality engine, at the moment i am on a sort of run in tune. eg: ive done a bit of running in on a softer tune but now im doing some more with a slightly more aggressive tune, all though still a very soft tune... anyhow im makeing 317rwkw on 17/18 psi, as soon as i get some more cash im going to play around with my fuel system setup, prob get a larger surge tank an run a areomotive a1000 + change my fuel lines to teflon speedflo, after that im hoping to make at least 400kw

i got 135ish across the lot which i thought was a little low, but it seems to be the norm, im running a fully built engine using cp flat tops, an a standard 26 head that has been fully reconditioned buy advan, only mods to perfomance side if the heas is adjustable cam gears

yeah it has 6 bolts all up, 3 tabs an 2 bolts on each, google it its a standard s15 one

yeah i was thinking i may have to cut out some of the bracing, also i here you can use vl engine mounts an they apparently bring it down around 2cm so i may try this when it come back

just put my 26/30 in my series 2 33 today, anyhow it looks very high just wondering if anyone has done this and if the standard bonnet will close/fit properly, as i cant test it myself today because my car is at the shop an the bonnet is still at home cheers

selling my rb25det from my series 2 1996 33, the engine has 106xxxks on it now, and was freshend up at 87xxxks with new water pump, timing belt kit, pistions an rings (nissan std), an bearings an a few other things. the turbo was also rebuilt an has alloy compressor an steel exhaust wheel, have invoice for all work done. the engine has never run above factory boost until 2 months ago, wen i stated to run 12psi, it was fully stock even stock intercooler, which is also changed now. engine runs perfect, comp tests welcome, i am selling pretty much as a long motor i am keeping the following parts for my rb2630 build, alternator, starter motor, power steering pump an bracket, ac an bracket, crank angel sensor, but it will come with std computer an intercooler. after $1100 ono cheers.
