Hi all, selling my Skyline and thought I'd give SAU the first chance to pick it up before I put it up on carsales. Model: 1999 Nissan Skyline ER34 25GT-T Coupe Transmission: Manual Colour: White Km's: 187,052 Reg: AZR-31M Reg Expiry: October 2014 Located: Merewether, NSW 2291 Price: $12,000 neg. The good: - Almost completely stock - Original interior/mats in great condition - Car Alarm/Immobiliser - Mechanically great for it's age - Daily driver to/from work, not flogged or used on the track - Serviced every 5,000km/6months with Hunter Thomas Auto Newcastle - Brand new heavy duty battery The not-so good: - Paint/body work not in great condition/has a few paint marks/scratches (pictured) - Steering wheel and gear knob worn (unsurprising given vehicle age) Non-Stock parts in vehicle: - Unknown brand 18" 6-spoke white rims, currently with Toyo Proxes T1 Sport tyres - Exedy Heavy Duty Clutch - Splitfire Coilpacks - 3-4" Cat-back exhaust - Koyorad Radiator - Greddy Turbo timer - Manual boost controller - Kenwood speakers/Alpine head-unit - Mongoose M80 Car Alarm/Immobiliser Summary/Reason for sale: Unfortunately due to work commitments I have purchased a car with more storage space than the Skyline, and I am no longer home often enough to justify keeping it as a second vehicle. For this reason I am looking for cash only, trade offers will not be considered. It's been an awesome, reliable vehicle and is a great starting point for anyone looking to modify an R34. As mentioned above I am slightly negotiable on price, but I recommend getting in soon before the vehicle is put up on carsales. I am happy to answer any/all questions about the vehicle and can provide more photos upon request. Contact Details: Mobile: 0413 613 986 Email: [email protected] Hours: I am uncontactable due to work 6am-5pm Monday to Friday, but leave me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you'd like to inspect the vehicle I will only be available on weekends. Cheers, Dave

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, but wanted to share it with NSW'ers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIYvD9DI1ZA Gave me a good laugh, found the message more effective than the usual - show crash scene/scare tactics

Newcastle And Central Coast Skyline Spotted Thread

Spotted a white R32 (not sure if gts/t/r? too dark to see) a bit over an hour ago, turning from hugh st onto the pacific highway at merewether. Also saw about 4 different silver R33's in the bottom level carpark of charlestown square between 6 and 7pm - one of them had a dark boot lid and a really nice exhaust note -
Yeh I thought it was an alright area too, but we seem to get our fair share of vandalism A week after the attempt on the 34, someone broke into my sister's car - luckily nothing taken/no damage.
-
Jump started and good to go Never realised the immobiliser would prevent a push start, makes sense though. At least next time I'll know to go straight for the jumper leads, thanks for the responses. Haha yeh ben I was going to text you if I ran into any major trouble, likewise very relieved that no damage was done - very thankful to the alarm. Hope everything's going well down in Sydney for you and tiff, hopefully see you guys soon (I think a group gathering is on the cards)

Hey guys, just needed a quick yay or nay on my situation, any advice would be greatly appreciated. For the first time on SAU, a forum search didn't solve things for me Someone recently made an attempt to break in to my R34 GTT, but luckily the alarm scared them off and no damage was done to the car. Unfortunately though, I wasn't at home at the time and the alarm ran long enough to run the battery completely flat. I live on a hill, so thinking I might just give it a quick push start but wanted to check if anyone here thinks I shouldn't? May sound silly but just wanted to be 100% sure before I do it. It has an Exedy HD clutch but apart from that the transmission/engine is stock. If there's any risk of damage I'll ask a neighbour for a jump start but wanted to avoid the trouble. Cheers in advance

+1 to the jazz, my sister has one. great little car, has a surprising amount of room inside, and we live on top of a decent hill which it has no trouble climbing.

Dear Mel, Sorry to hear about your accident, I am happy to shout the $2.25 for repairs to your car

Yeh being in there at night is asking for trouble. Went in there with my girlfriend two nights ago to chill out and watch the waves, I hoped it would be pretty empty on a thursday. I was wrong. The whole foreshore area was packed with commodores and falcons (with the odd silvia, lancer or daihatsu charade). We were there for about 5 minutes before a couple of tools in a VZ ute and an old statesman started redlining their engines in the carpark - so it was no surprise when two paddy-wagons showed up and started doing laps of the area. The same calibre of people usually gather in the carparks of Westfield Kotara, Charlestown Square and Glendale shopping center for late night thursday shopping. Apart from that I'm don't know of any regular gathering spots. I try to avoid them though, with good reason. Back on topic, I spotted a maroon 33 gts-t in Kotara yesterday, and a few days ago saw a bright purple 33 with a 34 GTR front end (near ausgrid stadium from memory?) -
listing a price would probably help your cause
