  1. nah its not salvageable because the cas spins off the key way (thingy) inside the cam shaft, and if it didnt align properly any movement of the ignition timing will wreck an engine. yes i understand upgrading and replacing springs is only for a higher lift. sorry i should have said "if i do upgrade, i dont want to go for cams that you should modify other items eg. springs" if you can align cas without using the " keyway" how do you do it?
  2. so i pulled of my cas sensor and it looks like previously it wasnt on right when i did the ignition timing or something and now the sprocket is broken for the cas to push into! (see photo) do i have to get a new exhaust cam? or what? as i would prefer to be cheap and keep those cams If i have to get new cams i dont wanna have to change all of the springs (i know i have to check the stems and buckets already) engine: Rb30 fully forged, rb26 head, hks cams N1's want to slide it so needs responsive cams, so do i go large lift or larger duration or what? i've heard the stock cams are pretty good is that right?
  3. mate i have the trust front pipes, i think they are 70 or 76 mm to 82mm or something like that, located in Sydney say $180? couple of dings but no leaks

  13. allright i understand, ill go to my workshop and get one on it. there isnt any other reading it should be producing like the TPS @ .45v closed? i couldnt really mark it anyway as i pieced this thing together thanks for the help
  14. Mods if you want to move this go for it. So ive finally finished my build and my engine will start and cough and splutter and it has a pretty good base map setup because a Genius from haltech did it for me. my problem is i moved the cas after he told me to change a couple of pieces and now im unsure about its position. i have a laptop with all the tunning software on it but just wanted to know what reading or where is the best place to have my CAS (in other words should it be at full lock left or right) or in the middle? if some one has what reading it should be coming out with that would be preferable engine is a rb26/30 stock cams stock cam gears is there anything else you need to know?

  18. no its going into an S15. but i think my biggest problem is its an rb26/30 any pictures of GTR intercooler piping would be greatly appreciated

Guys, i recently bought a R34 GTR intercooler and all pipework. but of course i have about 70% of an idea how the pipework goes, but because its going in a silvia i cant figure how it is exactly suppose to go (on the plenum side that is). does anyone have a GTR intercooler install step by step guide? ive become aware no one does, because a stock GTR you would only replace the original pipework, and you already have the cut outs in the chassis. please help me out

  21. use an rb30 cross member, with r33 gtst engine brackets and r32 gtst engine mounts. i can fit an rb 26/30 into my S15 with that, the r32 crossmember was about an inch higher when i tried both of them

  23. i have a gt28r, its a direct replacement for an S15 its a real garrett, i'll find you the model number when i get home $1000 posted
