Swansea To Brooklyn Via Woy Woy, Sunday 19Th October
AikenLugonn replied to BLKYLO's topic in Events Archive
I am a definite for this...have even had the crucial approval from wifey. Will think on whether or not I drive up the night before, will depend on whether or not I am bringing my son as well. -

Sorry but have to bail on this Friday. Friend finishing up at work on Friday. That means many drinks! -
Sound Of My People Cruise, Friday 29Th August
AikenLugonn replied to BLKYLO's topic in Events Archive
I am in for this, well at least part of it; I am away for work earlier that week, so won't really have the 'credits' to have a full night out! Also count me in for September, as long as it isn't the 14th (my son's birthday). -
Where To Buy A Nissan Skyline V36
AikenLugonn replied to Marvin's V36's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
That said, I purchased my 370 from Gavin, and can vouch for the above...with the exception of near breaches of urine, and apparent twin turbo systems allowing you to defeat 1100cc bikes. -
Hmm, I am convinced from reading this thread that it is not worth getting a sports exhaust on my 370GT. Was looking for the power boost, but if it is not noticeable, it is not worth it (for me)!

Loftus To Mittagong Via Nasho/maq Pass Cruise
AikenLugonn replied to BLKYLO's topic in Events Archive
Sorry I couldn't make this one; next time for sure! -
Wow, only a week after the Mittagong cruise?! I thought they were trying to avoid making these too frequent. I won't be able to make this one.

V36 Manual Pdfs In English
AikenLugonn replied to Haxorz's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Thanks, this will be really handy. The earliest they have is the 2010, but it is still for the most part the V36, so is good for me! -
I had a similar experience when shopping around for my V36. Some incredibly low kms (27,000 in one instance), but no paperwork to prove the veracity of the claims. I became wary, especially after reading about how common this 'winding back' of kms is. Finally found Road & Track in Silverwater, Sydney. The manager there, Gavin, only sells cars with all of the relevant Japanese paperwork. Provides much more comfort when laying out a significant sum of money!

#6 Sydney Skyline Cruise - Bateau Bay (Edit)
AikenLugonn replied to smiik33's topic in Events Archive
Really enjoyed the cruise, and thanks Brennan, I was happy to add a 36 to the mix! Glad I could stick with the crew as far as the Entrance, though I must say I thought there was going to be a beachside photo at the end of it! Also glad I missed the offroad component (the upside of a 2.5 year old who needs to get home). So I just experienced a few good scrapes on the way out of the Entrance...hopefully no damage. Doesn't sound like anything is wrong, and nothing fell off so I am hopeful Sorry I couldn't say bye to all when you went into the cafe. My son slept soundly all the way home! Thanks one and all for the photos; Jason your reverse shots 'in motion' were nicely executed. -
Otherwise there is the Skyline cruise on May 25 (as per Events in the NSW section of these forums), that is open to both R and V series Skylines.
-
That date is good for me too; I will be there.
-
So, all over then?
-
Sounds good I'll be there.

Trackschool Trackday @ Wakefield Park | April 29Th 2014
AikenLugonn replied to Bozman1's topic in Events Archive
Tahnks for the reply, but just noticed that this is the day after my wife's birthday, so perhaps not the best time to go out solo for the day! -
No I don't sorry. It was just in the boot, no box etc.
-
Cheers mate. The chrome grille was the one aspect of the 36 I didn't like, and this one came with an alternative in the boot (as it appears now). Happy with it; makes it look less 'coporate'. Not sure if I will keep it black or colour code it with the car. I like black, but it seems to be very common on all cars these days (almost as common as chrome).

#5 Sydney Skyline - 3 Sisters And Ribterranean
AikenLugonn replied to Assasin's topic in Events Archive
A few pics I took from the twin servos stop. For some random reason, my car features in most of them...
