bad idea, hiding the problem is not sorting it out, if a car presents a problem you need to fix it not cover it up or later it will make things much much worse and MUCH more expensive

mate simple way to check if its the clutch, put it into second gear while sitting and try and take off, if you basically go no where then your clutch is stuffed, another way is while your driving just push the clutch in and out once quickly without taking your foot off the gas if the revs go up and takes ages to go down or just stays high your clutch is rooted

they can handle a fair bit of power, its the torque that kills them, because your putting whats ment to be for a 2000cc engine onto the back of a 3000cc engine it wont last very long especially if you have a HD clutch, that bitch will die fast as f**k if you like to put your foot down alot and if you take off in the wrong gear you gonna snap all that shit up in there lol your best bet is to spend that extra cash, get yourself an RB25DET box and tailshaft, get the tailshafts glued together by a workshop, and V-WALLA!! a box that will handle the shit you put it through

if you can always do a comp test, wont take a huge amount of time but will really tell you what condish the engine is in and if the ODO has actually been played with no real standard in prices unfortunatley, all skylines vary for instance ive just sold my auto skyline, an automatic one with a stuffed trans and super high K's for 3500, the body was perfect and chassis rails did not have a single scratch on them so it made it worth it just for the shell you pick the price you want to pay and are happy to pay for the car you are viewing, there is no set price for this skyline in that year with that many K's

mate your biggest problem is everyones a tight arse and 18's would cost big dollars to get tyres on em so it would almost cost $2000 to get these on anyones car after payment for wheels, postage and new tyres and the end result is scratched wheels with clear coat peeling off. its just not very appealing when you can buy a set of VSKF's or better for the same money with tyres, find some rubber to put on em mate and they will sell
