As title states i am looking for a set of hard brake lines that connect to the abs unit as the nuts on mine are siezed to the abs unit and once removed most likely would be too damaged to be reused.   3. haha well was over exaggerating with the cant stop situation, wudnt risk my car like that =P and cheers, i only recently found out about the abs unit having bleed nipples so im assuming as its located on the top, gravity bleeding it prob wont work? ill buy a vacuum bleeder if thats the case. Probably also get 4-5 bottles just incase and do the pads and rotors after the unit is bledded in and entire system flushed. Thanks for all the help =)
  4. How many bottles of brake fluid did you end up using and how did u use the vacuum bleeder on the abs itself? Haven't used any of those bleeder tools before usually just normal gravity bleed but in this case I need to make sure as I'm changing rotors and pads at the same time wud be embarrassing taking it out to bled in brakes and neck minut cant stop haha
  5. So ive been searching around for awhile in topics related to ABS units on r32 gtr's as mine has started to leak. Found a few threads on people deleting them completely etc but i plan to just replace mine with a newer unit that i recently picked up. Couldnt find any guides with pics on people deleting/removing their abs units so ill have to figure that out myself when i install my new brake pads, rotors and replace the fluid. My dilemma is, ive always been told not to run the BMC dry, ok fair enough ive looked that up and seen how much pita for some to get it back working 100% again, but removing the ABS unit and putting the new replacement in will obviously end up having some air get into the system once i reconnect everything and clean up the mess and ive seen few mention that getting air into the abs unit itself is also a problem and a half to fix and get the air out. So my question is, if anyone has replaced their ABS unit before, did you run into problems bleeding the system after and getting air out of the unit? or was it simply replace unit then bleed system and all fine and dandy again? Reason for sale is that it wasn't the pads I had ordered, I had a friend order me the pads and instead of ferodo he ordered me the bendix heavy duty so I'm putting them up for sale so I can re order the pads I want. $105 per set for fronts or rear, selling both unused for $200 Ono. Hi, like the title suggests im after a non leaking r32 gtr abs unit for my 89 model r32 gtr as mine has started to leak and im currently collecting other brake upgrade parts to change them all at once so if any1 has an r32 abs unit thats not leaking and in good working order in Sydney area let me know.   12. the airbleed plug method works only for the r33 gtr though or am i mistaken? ive heard the only way for the r34 was pretty much disconnect the front prop shaft. On a slightly random note i wished my mates read up on this forum here and there so they know how the attessa works, ive had a mate whos an apprentice mechanic who said if you keep putting the r32 in rwd mode you screw up the transfer case and another who said the attesa in the r32 is 60/40 R/F 24/7 awd mode. 2nd part abt the 60/40 i know is bs without an aftermarket controller but they seem to know more abt my own car then myself lol, however the transfer case part, ive heard ppl said it doesnt damage the t-case but if som1 more knowledgeable could verify for the sake of it?
  13. @Sinista32 oh ok, cheers for that, i was hoping it would be related so i can conclude that it was those lines blocking the bov from recirculating the air back in. Ive read up on where its meant to circulate and its so far been mentioned after the AFM and before the turbos so where i found the hoses looks like it was roughly in that area, i think one of the hoses i saw i managed to trace it back to the intake so thats where my theory came from. Thanks for the input, appreciate it and the tip =) hopefully som1 would be able to clarify for me
  14. Hi, im a first time owner of a GTR, been lurking the forums for awhile, looking at builds etc but now i finally have my r32 gtr that ive always looked forward to owning. Ive been having a problem with the car stalling on deceleration to a stop here and there (started occuring 3 days after i owned it, drove fine before), ive looked into it on the forums about similar issues, and originally thought its due to having a atmospheric BOV but after having a look, it turns out mine was stock. So second conclusion i came to was it mustve been blocked off somewhere (probably at the BOV) to achieve the flutter.. or a more "whoosh" sound, so i woke up today and drove to my mates which is a 40min drive, to use his tools and try get to the bottom of it.... surprisingly drove fine the entire way there... and back. Anyways, so i assumed it wouldve been blocked off at the bov so jacked the car up, took the bumper off.... bolt under indicators was a PITA to get to, indicator didnt wanna budge, but after getting the bumper off and getting to the BOV i found out it wasnt blocked there, so decided to try follow some of the hoses back up, and next to the exhaust side i found 3 hoses that were blocked off with nuts.....(Prob was smarter if i had a look through the bay before i pulled bumper off but yeh..) I have a feeling it might be the hoses that recirculates the vented air back after the AFM and before the turbo but im not 100% sure so i took a photo and hopefully some1 here might be able to verify that that is the hose so i can sort this issue out. Ive ordered few bits here and there for the car, waiting on them to arrive so wanted to figure out this problem asap so when everything gets here i can bring it to my mechanic and save some time. Ive attached 2 photos of the hoses that are blocked off and hopefully som1 wud be able to help me out and verify what they are? Sorry for noob question =P

Ohk so ive been looking at picking up this nice r32 gts non turbo, its got a type M front bar with foglights on it, i was wondering if those foglights would fit into a non type M front bar? or would i have to buy a gtst front bar with foglights on it already? im not sure if the bars with foglights have brackets in the bumpers to hold it or its somewhere else, i tried to search but mainly found threads selling foglights, foglight switches or bumpers with the foglights in it already. I want to swap the type M bar to the standard gtst front bar with foglights and put a gtr lip on it, i somehow like that angled look of the standard gtst bar better than the type M, guess its just all preference so yeah since it would be my 1st skyline im not so sure of said specifics and would appreciate some insight into the matter. PS. just another random question, i know the r32 gtr chassis is different to the r32 gtst chassis to run the attessa system etc, but is the r32 gtst chassis exactly the same as the r32 gts non turbo one just without the 5lug, bigger brakes and LSD + maybe some other stuff? i want to know as i was looking at another thread here about rims sizes and offsets but no1 had a non turbo r32 gts up there, and someone asked the same question but wasnt answered therefore still not sure if a nice fitment on a gtst is identical to a gts minus the 4lug? Ill just try make this simple for people who dont want to read alot and try put it in dot points so i dont have to go on and on tryna elaborate incase i confuse people. 1) Can the r32 gtst type M front bumper foglights mount into ANY standard r32 gtst front bumper? or would i have to get one with foglights in it already? 2) Would i be able to run exact same wheel fitment from an r32 gtst on an r32 gts? or is there slight differences? 3) What would be a flush 17 or 18 inch wheel fitment and offset to run say 235/40 at the front and 255/40 at the rear? also would i need to have coilovers first as they are slimmer than stock suspensions and would give some extra space for the wheels? Any insight or straight answers to my questions are very much appreciated, i apologize for my noobness, hope to learn as much as i can =)
  18. holidays over for me soon, uni starts in around 2 months, so i kinda really do need to find a car soon, 8 months is a pretty long time to wait, but it might be possible depending on how stubborn i am to look for a car im actually interested in, been without a car since i sold my 180sx around 6 months ago, i guess borrowing friends cars and family cars have helped me lasted so far, if i cant find anything i feel like i might just use public transport so it is possible but if you do have/ own one now you wouldnt mind pming some pics anyways? im just curious =) thanks

As title states looking for a non turbo manual r32 skyline, no not r33.. i know r32 non turbos are not easy to come by especially here where im around but I wanted to see if i was able to get lucky, not in a rush so just text me if you do have one 0422126939 or email at [email protected], dont worry about the value of the car, my budget easily covers your average/clean NA r32 unless your one of those dreamers who try to sell p plater legal cars for over the top prices, i am keen for an r32 but if i cant find one theres always other cars im in no rush =) thanks
