nevermind, charged the battery and the problem went away

last night i filled my r33 up with 60$ of 95 gull premium. The week before hand i filled up the same fuel, with only $50 dollars. anyway, as sooon as i drove my car out, its idle was acting up, i mean... when i was doing clutch control, and going slow in first gear, it was jumping forward. and also as i drove off, and changed gears when speeding up, the exhaust was popping at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear changes. I thought ohh yeah, ill just let this new fuel settle in and didnt think about it tooo much. Later that night as i tried to start my car, it took longer kicking over. The real problem came when i turned my lights on = the idle was rapidly increasing and then decreasing, surging, from 1000 to 500 and back, and then it dropped lower - still surging back and forth until it got to 0 rpm, and it stalled. Now my car has a flat battery and i can't start it obviously. I hope someone can help, because i have no clue what to do and i need my car. Thankyou Keaton

Hey mate, I wentt to Hooleys Auto in Joondalup, winton ave. But i think they also come under the name Autospark. Their hourly rate is 100 dollars an hour, but i think thats a pretty standard rate. To any one else, i fixed my problem but cutting out the aftermarket dash gauges, and now ive got the stock one, which was behind it, and its a lot better Hope i helped out Problem fixed.

Snozzle, My car has quite a bit of rust on that area, on both drivers side and passenger side. Do you know of any DIY's on this issue. Because mine needs to be fixed ASAP. Or if you could explain it in detail, that would be much appreciated. Thanks =]

The whole point of the GTR is to be a beast. and sorry to alarm you. but if i saw a GTR with a non turbo engine. i would be...disappointed HAHA

I booked my car into an auto electrician. and 30 mins later and $20 bucks spents. I found out the problem is my aftermarket dash face. Its a blue luminous one and something is wrong in the circuit they told me. So does anyone know what i should do? Where do i buy a new one, and whats the average price. Thankyou

Hey thanks for your help i got a quote today to fix everything on my car, and it was close to $2000, but that included painting scratches on the bumper and a large scrape which needs to be filled. But just to fix the dents it cost $450 alone. So idk whether to just get the dents done, and bog and respray the scrapes and larger dents. I cant afford 2 grand. so thats looking pretty good.

Hey guys, i have a few dents (scrapes) in my car, and a few scratches also, some where the paint has completely been sliced off, and a small amount of rust has started to build. I was just wondering, whats the best way i can remove the dents, AND fix scratches. Im on a low budget at the moment and need to find the most efficient way. Also im not too good with this stuff, so details would be really appreciated. And hopefully with the help i get, i can restore my baby back to mint condition again Thanks

My dashlights on my r33 s2 keep flickering on and off, but for the most past, they remain off. ive took the whole dash off, replaced the 5 blue globes. Its really strange, it seems like it works sometimes and others it doesnt. I just would like some help because its a problem which ive had for a while, and ive decided to put my foot down and try my best to fix it. Any help mwould be much appreciated.. Thanks SAU
