  1. Nangank Ultra Sprot NS-II 235/45/r17, 4x tyres. Average 35 - 40% (or more not sure how to rate tyres they still look like they got a fair bit of rubber) thread remaining. 2 tyres are worn slightly more on the inside. Selling due to upgrade. $150 Price very negotiable. Contact me via my Email Address, [email protected] pic http://firesport.ipspace.com/?section=item...n=show&id=20833
  2. I just put Koni Sport damper adjustable shocks and king spring low springs in my r33 and they are great. Also had pinapples fitted. They are great for cornering and on 'full soft' damper I find them no problem for daily drive use. My previous suspension was JIC height adjustable coilovers, now "they were like 70% harder than the Koni sport on full hard setting, going down a normal road was uncomfortable". Only at calder park and albert park were they smooth. Anyway with the suspension make sure it is set up by someone who knows their stuff. Loving the Koni Sports, can't wait to test them on the track
  3. Improve fuel economy! Syline R33 O2 sensor Genuine Nissan Part, only used for 3 days, removed because my Microtech ECU does not use an O2 sensor. O2 sensor palys a major part in FUEL ECONOMY as it basicly dictates how rich your car runs. Recommended to be replaced every 40,000Km. $100 pick up or $105 inc postage Contact me via my Email Address, [email protected]. http://firesport.ipspace.com/?section=item...n=show&id=20580
  4. Hi Antone using the DBA 4000 Slotted rotor? Anyone feedback. Thinking of using this with race brakes rb74 brake pad, what do you think of this setup? Also what is the cold braking like with this rotor does it need to be 'heated up' before it starts to grab?
  5. Hi guys Can anyone tell me more about the Hankook K104 ($165) ???? Also about the difference in performance between Toyo TPG ($180) and Proxes T1R ($295). I'm due for a tyre change and the above are looking like good value for money options. size required 235/45/r17 Thanks
  6. ok, guys looks like good quality tyres are the go. Btw, have done 2 wheel balances and 1 wheel alignment. And have rotated tyres (this help a little)
  7. Hi Currently I have 17inch rims with 235/45/r17 tyres (Nankang, hehe) and need to replace them as the tyres are causing steering wheel vibration at speeds over 110km. I have come up with 2 options, which is 'better' option 1 Buy 4 235/45/r17 quality tyres such as Dunlop SP3000, Michelin Preceda or possiblay SO3s option 2 Get 18 rims 8.5" at the front and 9.5" at the rear with Hankook Venus Sport "K104" rubber. 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear. These rims will make the car look better too Which option will give me better performance???
  8. Thanks for all the help guys. I have taken out the new O2 sensor and replaced it with the old one as my microtech ltx-12 does not use the O2 sensor. I am selling the new O2 sensor on www.firesport.com, so if anyone with a stock ecu or one that needs the O2 sensor want to try imporve fuel economy the sensor. Am getting more tunning done soon to try increase my fuel economy. Ps. after the last time my car went on the dyno managed to squeze 330km out of a tank.
  9. Using standard injectors. Running like 16psi, mechanic say "the injectors are close to being maxxed out" Should i get them cleaned or something? I think my next step it to try get a retune of my Microtech LTx-12? ps. i also have a straight through Cat and used to get flames out the exhaust on gear changes under full throttle, now it has been tunned a little and black smoke comes out. And when i look at my car is see all this 'black exhaust dust' over the whole boot.
  10. F*** i think you are right because my fuel level dropped down to like 1/4 left and i only got about 240km so far so i'm probabally looking at 300kn for the tank max. What should i do???????????????????????????????????????? Take out the New O2 sensor and sell it, put the old one back in and get the ECU retunned? Does anyone know how to get better fuel economy out of a Microtech LTX12???? PS. Forgot to say i have forged pistion, does this reduce fuel economy? Basicly I just can't understand why my fuel economy is so bad and it pi**e* me of to have to pay $50-$60 for every 250 - 300km!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Help?
  11. Thank for the help so far I have changed my O2 sensor and so far i have gotten roughly about 200km from half the tank, but i think the last half of the tank runs out quicker. However, most of the driving was 'freeway type' driving not really pushing the car a lot. I'll see how the rest of the tank goes, but if its true what CUBES said that the microtech ltx12 doesn't support the O2 sensor then did i waste my money (cost $180 fitted by the way), and how come i seem to have better fuel economy? Anyway i'll keep you guys posted. thanks
  12. Yea ive measured fuel consumption that way, still about the same, and guage should be working ok, the fuel economy is just **** using "standard" injectors Should get a new O2 sensor fitted tomorrow, hope no PRAYING that fixes the problem.
  13. I have a r33 1994 model with a garett gt30 turbo and microtech mtx12 ecu and 4inch exhaust . I am only getting 220 -250km on a full tank of petrol and this was the case before the turbo and computer upgrade. It uses the same amount of fuel if I drive slow with barely any boost or trash it for the whole tank. My mechanic say 'this is the best fuel economy you can get'. Im pi##ed off with these figures and my mechanic so have 'finaly' decided to replace my O2 sensor (which i asked my mechanic about). What I want to know is will the way he has tunned my ECU effect the way the new O2 sensor will work?? And all you other guys who say your lines get 400km + a tank, what kind of mods do you have? Just help me please, give me so feedback please!
  14. Yes, Centerline thats the guys i went to get a quote. Just by talking to the guys you can tell they are on the ball. And they were also recomended by my mechanic
  15. HI I am currently looking to invest in that same setup, koni sport adjustables and king springs. How much did your mods cost and what exactly did u get? Also if you don;t mind where did u get the work done? Thanks

  17. Hi, I want one for my r33 series 1. PM with the details
  18. Hi Have a r33 gts-t with mictotech ltx12, forged pistons and a garret gt30. Recently the car has been heating up when ideling for a while. I got the radiator checked at nat rad and they said it was fine. My mechanic drilled holes into the thermostat to helop with water flow. Then i bought a viscous coulping for the clutch fan. The car still heats up and i think its because of the holes in the thero, water running slowly form the engine heating up the radiator. Think the next step it to get a cooler theromstat. Can anyone help me , what do u thinK?
