  1. At lower speeds it shifts like factory, I couldn't really feel any difference. But at high rpm, shifts are definitely more jerky, chirps the back wheels a bit in my case
  2. Any figures on how much power the auto box can handle now with the shift kit and trans cooler? My tuner has very little faith in them...

Shift kit is in! definitely tighter shifts... but a bit more brutal in my case since Ive got a wolf in as well, still within reason though Will be sending valvebody back real soon tomorrow or day after, its still soaked in oil The trans-cooler also went in, too bad had to mount it between radiator and FMIC (stock location) would have preffered a better location.

  7. standard cooler is tiny, about 1/3 of the upgrade for those curious people here's a pic of the MV cooler upgrade got it today with the new valvebody
  8. I called xspeed before and they said they can tune the newer version of the F-con forgot which F-con that was, apparently it was written in english but the older F-cons they'd have to fly someone in from singapore or japan

You don't need a fuel regulator probably because you've got bigger injectors He said he doesnt have the funds for them so he's going to need the FPR to bump up the fuel pressure to make 250rwKw. Im also going down this route very soon with a 2535, standard injectors and HKS 256 EX cam Probably would have been better with the inlet cam as well but hey, this is as far as I can go right now...
  11. I have! Sent the fax and all first thing monday Also getting a transmission oil cooler kit Will call them again soon just to make sure all the paperwork is done ok after all this... Im actually still a bit blur to how a new valvebody actually improves the gearbox's durability and shift quality... :confused:

  13. What about 2530KAI? They're rated higher than a 2540 at 340ps I think HKS Sport Turbine Kit for the RB25 are now based around the 2530KAI since everything else has been discontinued I think greenline has them with T3 flange

  15. You think with Fuel pressure regulator and a good fuel pump the stock fuel system would be able to support 250rwKw? (and I'm from perth ehhehe :headspin: ) Im about to try a 2535 but dont have injectors at the moment, hope it'll get 250kw will have results by end of month

  17. Did you feel a noticable change in idle when going from standard to 550cc injectors? Do you still bother with FPR or did you use the standard one? Im guessing even with standard regulator the duty cycle would still be pretty low
  18. A reply I got from David of deatschwerks: The spray pattern is different, anyone that tells you otherwise is not being honest. I have had 3 different injector technicians flow test them and they all said they are fine. It is a stock conical pattern but the spray is tigher than stock. This is true of any larger than stock injectors. In addition, I run these in my car and my local customers' cars. None of us have had idle problems or loss of fuel economy. I also have a steady 14-15 AFR at an 850rpm idle. Either way it seems like the set tang0 bought are working fine in his car
  19. I have no idea on injector design so... how does the spray pattern and reliablity of high flowed injectors compare with brand names such as nismo and sard? or does it depend on the people doing the work in the first place?

Just an info I received from them about these injectors the RB25 injectors are the same fitment as SR20 injectors. the injectors will fit both without any modification (direct swaps). They are high-flowed JECS (OEM nissan) which have been completely rebuilt, tested, and matched.

Im trying to set my 96 R33 GTS-t for drags I have 3 sets of springs which I could use on my GAB super shocks RSR King Lows Stock Does anyone know the springs rates for any of these springs? or any advice on which one to use front/back for more squat? I know that King Lows are progressive rate springs, whatever that means... any advice would be great cheers -lukits
  24. Okay Im convinced Question is, suppose I make a CAI box for my pod filter How big should it be and how would I feed it cold air? The problem with some cars (like mine) is I cant use the standard box or the snorkel anymore due to aftermarket intercooler piping Is it enough to feed the CAI box from the factory cooler hole? like wat 2BNVS and Driver has done? Maybe enlarge the hole? I dont want to lose power because a CAI box is too restrictive
