  1. I'll have to check if its the same, is this going to come with the CAS bracket and CAS bolts?
  2. Im interested in the CAS can you find out the part number? need to know if its the same as series II CAS
  3. Can anyone tell me how to check if your shocks are worn? Im looking at some second hand dampers and coil-overs and I dont want to buy something Im going to regret or rebuild for that matter If you take out the springs and press the shocks in, are they suppose to pop back out without hesitation or come out very slowly?
  4. Yea the 256s great I can feel there's less lag with the stock turbo pushed the car over 200rwKw too So you're saying the exhaust cam wouldnt fit with the VCT?
  5. Can you use Exhaust cams for your Inlet? I have a RB25 with HKS 256 8.8mm Exhaust cam and was thinking of purchasing the inlet cam to make the pair complete. Ive learnt that 264Ex and 256In is a great combination. So was wondering if I could use the exhaust cam shaft on the inlet side (with VCT) and buy a 264 EX to replace that? I know you cant use the inlet on exhaust because it doesnt have the end bit that connects to the CAS, but not sure about the other way around. cheers
  6. GAGH! just when I thought everything was well this damn problem comes back to haunt me. My timing never seems to want to stick to 15deg After a week of setting the base timing, the car starts to idle badly once again when measured with timing light its nowhere near the markers but the CAS hasnt moved an inch! I turned the CAS all the way to one side and the markers are still lightyears away from lining up Sounds like a stuffed CAS or am I wrong? oh and I have a HKS cam gear, Im just wondering if my mechanic installed it correctly, is the white dot on the outer edge (in between the teeth) suppose to line up with anything?

  19. hey steve, do you mind if I get a map with the idle stepper setup as well? Because ive plugged in my wolf and it runs the car fine, but it sometimes stalls on idle or at very low rpm. Just need a map so I can drive to the workshop safely :wassup: without having to worry when power steering is going to give out...
  20. Is the manifold meant for stock turbo? so T3 flange and mounts the turbo in stock position right in front of the dump pipe?
  21. Hey Evil turns out my problem was the same as yours, sort of... my bloody mechanic didnt tighten the CAS bolts and it was bouncing around as the cam was rotating tightened it and set to 30Deg and all is well thanks for the help people

I think Williams got overconfident this year. tried that radical walrus nose job They knew it was faster than the old car so they must've thought it was good enough Jean todt said before Melbourne GP "We're bringing a surprise to melbourne" well... that surprise blew everyone out of the field Im just utterly speechles but how much faster the F2004 is compared to the other cars... the Italian GP was a clear demonstration of that. Rubenz and Michael just went through the field like they were the only 2 cars there. I think Michael managed to close the gap to rubenz because RB knew that MS wasnt allowed to pass him so there was no reason for him to increase his lead, I think RB couldve gone faster the last few laps given he had fresh tyres
