    I just bought one myself called a few wreckers they all seem to ask around $200-$250 I think all the RB engines have the same CAS well atleast the twin cam ones but thats WA prices for you

    BACK ON THE ROAD! turns out the CAS was electronically alive but mechanically dead! and the little stick at the end of the cam shaft had snapped oh well got HKS 256 in there now when the engine is warm the cams are kinna noisy is this normal?

    Does anyone know if the CAS from CA18, SR20, RB25Neo, and RB26 are all the same as the R33 RB25DET?

    well it wont start with or without throttle and the standard FPR is still there When I installed the fuel pump my workshop said it might blow the standard FPR because of overpressure. How does that make sense? doesnt the FPR control the pressure? IMACUL8: checked out that possibility as well but its not compression lock but havent checked the injectors though

    Hey does anyone have a spare CAS around? I think mine is dead just wanted to try with someone elses CAS to see if the car would start you know, the sensor at the end of the exhaust cam shaft its for a RB25 btw ohh a spare FPR might be usefull too my problem is at this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=35704 cheers

    Is it possible that my problem is caused by a dead CAS? or the FPR not being able to handle the larger fuel pump? has anyone ever had a problem like this?

    so both Series 4 or 5 core would work? would the oil and waterlines need to be modified? What kind of compressor wheel are you using? and how's the response with the turbo?

    So you'll be using VG30DET turbine housing and stock RB25DET compressor housing? would this upgrade be possible using the standard RB25DET rear housing? Just wondering which RX7 turbo would you use? Isnt the series VI and above twin turbo? Im guessing its the ones before that?

    I got a stock AUTO managed a 15.2, probably could do a flat 15 with slightly better tyres but my car is far from stock now so guess we'll never know ehhe does anyone else have times for a stock auto?

    Thanks for info sydney kid I only have a SAFCII This idea was sorta result of impulse buying hehehe My ex cam shaft shat itself somehow and I thought might as well get a mild upgrade since I allready have HKS cam gear might as well finish it off What about RB25DE inlet HKS 256 Exhaust that would be a better combination wouldnt it?

    Yea was wondering how good is the stock AUTO trans cooler? looks pretty small, but then again most performance AUTOs dont even have these

    Sorry for digging up and old thread was wondering if anyone has any opinion on running a 256 Ex Cam shaft with the standard RB25DET VVT inlet shaft? Will this combination work? what kind of tuning is involved?

    cheers guys but decided to just go all the way and get some HKS ones while the OZ dollar still strong since I allready have the cam pulley might as well finish the job Dsturbd thanks for the offer I'll pm you if I change my mind
