Im also chasing 200rwKw and right now I have my eyes on a Bosch910 pump
I read on previous threads that these arent recommended to be mounted in-tank
What kind of problems would I have if I tried to mount it using the standard brackets?
i.e. replace the standard in-tank pump completely
Has anyone mounted a 910 before? What's the average price on 910s nowadays anyway?
When going for custom exhaust what points do you looks for?
I mean what requirements is considered important
I know it has to be mandrel bent, usually 3" piping or bigger
anything else to look for? such as material etc. ?
Personally I think for standard or bolt on turbos I'd go for the brand name kits
these days with the OZ dollar so strong they arent that much more expensive and are guranteed to perform (easy to install too GO DIY!!!)
such as the HKS type S, or Trust V-SPL (both tube and fin) would do just fine
if you're planning to go for a bigger turbo then might as well go for Apexi GT spec or HKS type R but these are again a few hundred bucks over the cheaper V-SPL
check out nengun I just bought a V-SPL of them for 1200 delivered oh plus customs duty
When removing the Crank Angle Sensor (CAS), how do you make sure its in the same place when you put it back on?
in other words, where do you mark it before you remove the CAS?
Anyone got a picture of this?
the reason I'd prefer a GTR pump is because they are a straight fit replacement of the stock pump. they seem to go anywhere between 170-400 depending on condition
how much are Bosch 910? and is it difficult to install?
hey, I have a R33 GTS-T that I want to pump up to 200rwKw
was thinking of purchasing a 2nd hand GTR fuel pump
do I need a fuel pressure regulator to accompany this? or would the stock ones do?
Im sure a GTR pump would be more than enough for my needs is there anything wrong with this idea?
sorry for jacking the thread qikr33 have you fitted on ur turbo back yet?
cause Im also about to attempt to bolt on a turbo back exhaust
Are there any more gaskets on the exhaust besides the one between the dump and the turbo?
am I right to assume that the you need to replace that gasket once you remove the stock dump pipe?
What would be the power limit of the stock auto box though? would it be able to take 200rwKW? how does the gearing compare with the stock 5 speed manual?
and how the hell do you launch in a stock auto?
actually just found a problem ehheheh my horn isnt working
Im pretty sure its plugged in properly but eveytime I press the horn I only hear a clicking noise from the switch in engine bay fuse box, any ideas?
oh and any ideas where I can find meshing?
none of this fly screen type meshing they look shit
looking for something thats got a bigger hole and is black metallic in color
they look hell mean ehheheh
thanks turbomad
the computer mapping must be very different for series II R33 because my graph looks nothing like that
do you guys with 200rwKw bother to make cold air partitions for your pod filters?
Hey turbomad
Didnt really want to copy ur AFC settings just want to get a picture what your correction graph roughly looks like
Im going to get mine tuned again after a fitting some more stuff
does it gradually rise to a peak at around 3500 RPM?
when you're reaching 230rwKw or more would you need a fuel pressure regulator?
obviously an upgraded fuel pump is needed but a regulator? how much are these neway?
oh and does anyone know a TRUST turbo that's comparable to the GT2530 and the 3040?
Yea I'd go with profec B,
relatively cheap for a EBC and does its job
unless you're going for 2 Bar and beyond
then you might need something more, like the profec E
Hey turbomad
I pretty much have the same mods as you do
just wondering what your corrections are like on your SAFC if you dont mind sharing info
and on your profec B is the balance tilted towards mild or sharp?
I have a profec B and the car is totally stock except for air filter
I turned up the boost to 13 PSI but it also had the problem with dead spots at high RPMs
I turned it down to 10-11 PSI and its fine there
Does anyone know why these dead spots occur? or how to fix it? I allready have .8mm spark plugs installed so thats not the problem
