bumb... i found this...of another topic.. "Given you just had work done done on the car I'd say the ambient sensor is unpluged ( it should be the little black lump next to the horns, behind front bumper). Like GTScotT said its a common thing, mechanic forgets sensor, A/C thinks the outside temp is -40C or something and fires up the heater 4 ya There are 2 other sensors, one at the back of the dash ,left side (sunLoad) and one just to the left of the steering columb (interior temp). Any of these left unpluged/faulty will screw up ya AirCon (usually with the heat your gettn) " "have a search on SAU for heater threads you should find plenty of info on the heater. being a 33 owner I'm not familiar with the 34 BUT if ya stick ya head under the glove box and hit the 'recircualte air' button, you should see a 'rod and lever' arangement mo0ving, thats the cowl door. Same goes 4 the heater cores tap, change the temp and something will move to direct the water flow. like I said though do a search. I'm sure I've seen full removal guides and all. "

umm but i can adjust it on the unit it self.. lik if i put it on 18 degree or 32 degrees, the temperature remains the same... so would change the climate control unit fix this? is that whta your sayin???

hey i have the same problem as one of the other guys on here, my heater is stuck on, no matter what temp i set it too.. and i believe its one of these motors..can anyone tell me were i can find it? and di anyone firgure out what this motor from this topic does? lol

suss it out, fuel pump relay wiring.. in the boot der is a relay.. switch 3 to 5 and a coil from 1 to 2. the switch is working fine.. but my signal wiring i believe from the ecu, which is 1 or 2 is not working.. so for a temporarily fix i installed a on/off toggle switch from 3 to 5 were the relay would be.. and car starts fine... really random.. lol

hey dis mite be a stupid question but ive i tried starting my car again dis mornin.. it cranks over, adn did fire up once but stalled/cut out straight away... umm but i one thing i did notice.. i cant hear my fuel pump priming... this is my question..lol would u still hear ur fuel pump priming after trying to start it several times/alot of times??? lol or yea.. :S

umm na i have an hiflow turbo with new core built by hypergear, and shes been sweet... no problems der...

yeah its cranking over..lol im plugging in a obd reader after work 2day, hopefully that mit narrow it down...

yeah i no how to check for spark and fuel gona check it out 2mrw.. and for cas bolts, already checked that... ive checked spark plugs and they look good. ive also checked fuses, and ther all fine too... but a few ppl are tellin me it could be cas, fuel pump, ecu and earths.. how often do cas just become faulty? lol so far its lookin like that.. hmm yeah mite check my cat.. but i hav aftermarket turbo-back and dump and exhaust..but still running same cat,, lol

yeah its cranking... sorry i worded that wrong.. like its trying to start, but wont..jst lik if u had a flat.. but its not, and just does the same thing... im gona check t/belt/cam angle and fuses today... hopefully its one of them... anyother ideas?

can hear fuel pump priming... pump is a walbro fuel pump put in over a year ago, and shes been fine ever since...

hey i took my skyline for a drive 2nite, got about 5-10mins away from my place. was at the lights took off and it felt like i didnt have power.. was weird.. den all off sudden nothin and i managed to get to the side of the road and it cut out.. wasnt on boost or anythin and car was still warming up lol nothin seems to be leaking, no cooler hoses hav come off, and battery seems perfect coz its like 3months old... so im not sure any idea? timing belt/crank angle????

but i havent touch or pulled anythin out of the dash.... so i dont c how it came out or undone.. i noticed last nite, i turn it the air on straight away..and set it to 18 degree, and even after my temperature went to normal, and i adjust the the temp to 32 degrees it felt lik 18 degree still... so i actually think that the hot/cold buttons... well what that goes to is jamming and is not working properly.... is ther a servo/motor that i can check out, and if so wer is it? lol

hey my climate control in my r33 hot and cold adjustment doesnt seem to be working anymore... :| it did use to work.. lol it seem to blowing hot air all the time even when set to 18 degrees it still blows hot air with a/c on and with changing the fan speed. any ideas were to start?
