Some will be hot lapping others will be racing in GrpA/GrpC. 4 races on the Sunday. Terry and Rod have reproduced group A period shirts to sell. Button up with pocket. Be advised though, the R34 I/C is quite a bit taller than the '33 one. Hooks

Went like a champion all day at Wakefield park. Boost didn't budge, no spiking either. Didn't stop me from winning the prize for the biggest spinout of the day. flat spotted all four tyres and didn't leave the blacktop. Definitely boosts up quicker, really noticable on the track, lots more grunt on tap out of corners.....which probably led to the flat spot problem. To people who know the track, I did it coming down the hill around the big right sweeper at about 130/140kmh. Hooks

Late R31 came with 6 port red rocker cover. It's on! And it does exactly what its supposed to do. Boost bleed; max boost 3800rpm/ 3900rpm New Simark special; max boost 3500/ 3600rpm = fatter torque NO SPIKE! also, has a smoother ramp, feels slower but is actually quicker. I'm very happy so far. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow around Wakefield park. Hooks

Ok, got it today (thanks Simark) results tomorrow. Little more background; Car is running RB20det ECCS 6 port red rocker cover. RB25 roller turbo R33 GTS intercooler (I'm after an R34 GTS I/C for nix, any offers?) Cat back 2.5" exhaust, standard airbox, O2 rush air filter. Hooks (I'm serious about the R34 intercooler)

With a bit of luck my controller should turn up tomorrow. It's replacing a t/smart boost bleed. So I'll do some back to back testing on saturday, then on sunday I've got a track day so It'll get a bit of a workout. Hoping for quicker boost up. I run my car at 15psi at present (have done for 5/6 years) and it has always spiked to 17psi. Hooks

Yeah, thats the corner I mean. The other one I have trouble with is the one coming on to the straight. I always seem to turn in too late and screw up the apex. My favourite bit is the left, right, right, sweeping right, up the top. I like to hurl it into the 1st left/right, slide it right out to the ripple strip on the downhill right, and then hang the arse out around the sweeper with the drivers side front wheel up on the curb.
