Was having a read in the Vic EPA thread... Are the JASMA exhaust (Legalis/Kaki/Blitz etc etc) all rated under 89db @ say, 4-5krpm? Seems like with the RB's EPA is testing the noise @ a certain RPM and people are failing left and right....so being under 89db at idle doesn't help... Not interested in getting defected again...so yeah, just curious...

Get a samsung 7" Galaxy tab. Stick to existing 7" display with double sided tape. done. $450... Or spend 1-2K on an aftermarket double DIN GPS/Media player... your choice. I'm getting a new set of rear custom springs from Silkroads so I'm selling the original that came with my Silkroads RM/A8 Coilovers... about 9 months old, still in excellent condition once you wipe off the grime... they're 245mm long with 10kg spring rate... $100 + postage... LOL, $20 shipping? a bit rich considering the workshop was about 1.5km away from the Bursons that I ordered it from. I was gonna pick it up myself but the Mechanic insisted that Bursons had it delivered (not by a courier/post - just an employee driving over). The way I see it they just want to milk every penny from us folks...

the $1600 was including other crap...but I still felt he ripped me off. Seriously, a trustworthy mechanic is rarer then hen's teeth. Example - I went to this same mechanic to get a RWC done in order to reg my car in VIC. He charged me $110 for the RWC in Jan 2011. last week I went there to get another RWC. on the invoice he priced the RWC @ $150??? WTF? I ordered the superpro bushes via Bursons and Bursons was gonna charge me $187. The mechanic said just have them delivered to his place so he can install them ASAP. I thought, alright, why not. On the bill his charged me $207 for the bushes. I can go on forever, but f**k me, they're just giving themselves a bad rep as dodgy kunts

I just had both of mine done, along with all the boots, for $175 each plus labour... I think I paid too much, much didbn't have time to dick around for prices. The whole bill came to $16xx...pissed me off to no end...

MV Auto is in SA... I had my shift kit done at RVO Auto in Dandenong....they should be able to help you out if you can't find anyone else... Oops just read the whole thread and saw that you already went to RVO. I didn't have any issues with RVO. They changed my valve body over too. However I brought my own Matic J along as I didn't know wtf they were goig to put int. Aaron (who used to have an ARX) also had his trans done at RVO and insisted on Nuon ATF. Seems like they've done a few M35 by now...so you'd think they'd know NOT to use Dex III stuff...you'd hope.
