TBH its still a slug off the line. from standstill to 30ish kph the response sucks....unless you've got nismo ECU and/or revving the engine with the brakes on... The rental Tiida my wife is driving (her car's in the shop again) seems to go harder then my Stag from standstill... of course, I'm redlining the damn thing and I look at the speedo and its barely reaching 60 kph...LOL

all you guys are preaching to the choir. Yes I love the car...of course I don't want to get rid of it. But our renovations have gone waaaay over budget and we still need $$$ for furnishings. Plus I'm loosing my license for 6+ months starting this Friday... IF I don't sell this car then we'll have to sell the family car, the Grandis. That means my wife will be driving the Stag as her daily, and considering her accident rate/driving skills, the stag will get wrecked in no time. I'll rather sell it to someone who will appreciate it, make some $$$, and maybe when I get my license back I'll get another one. Maybe....

I don't get it. So the engine is the same as pre 2004 nm35s but it doesn't pass? Can't they chuck in another huge cat in the exhaust to fix it?
