  1. Would love to come...but Sundays aren't good for me
  2. So if I turn on the aircon and the air smells like mold...is this what I replace?
  3. So do we agree that the BC VS coilovers are the same as BR without the bling? Will it fit ok or do I need to fk around with spacer or custom bits? If so I'll just pay extra for the BR if they just bolt on out of the box...
  4. Looking at Stillen's site: http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=STIZTBE01&c=PE&year=2003&make=INFINITI&model=G35%204DR What's the 2nd kit? a straight tube? Interesting that no one's got a CAI on the M35 yet...which means the stock air box is...tolerable?
  5. Haven't had a call. INsured my M35 with JustCars a few months ago - no problem...about $1200 premium...
  6. Cheaper here: http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=473168
  7. ooooooook so do we agree that after market coilovers made for V35/Z33 will fit into an M35 provided a spacer is used?
  8. So are the shocks/springs in our M35's interchangable with Z33/V35's?
  9. You didn't check the prices on these on IM before you got them??
  10. Question guys - I'm thinking of getting one of these. Will I need the Boost sensor as well as the oil temp sensor too?
  11. Hmm, is there a function on the remote where we can fold in the mirrors after you've left the car? I know with my grandis I can by double clicking the lock button on the remote...
  12. Yeah...the only issue is I have 3 kids, and fitting them all in the middle row would be very tight. What's the middle row width wise like compared to my M35 Stag? Looks like I might need to see some local samples...
  13. Doesn't look like split folding rear bench to me??? http://www.carsales....&autoplay=false http://www.carsales....73&tabID=304744 Is it because you have a series 2? hmm 2005 1.5 YGZ11...still no split folding bench? http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopup.aspx?R=9136671&PhotoID=9102018&h_mid=4415219&f_mid=&c_mid=4414491&pid=140973&tabID=304744&autoplay=false
  14. Question - looking at getting a Cubic to replace my wife's Grandis. Need something a bit more economical and easier to park/maneuvore (nearly every panel on the Grandis, save the roof, is dinged!) Only thing is...does the rear bench split fold? And if it doesn't, would it have enough room left to fit a pram in the back?
  15. Wonder how long this thread will last...you know the old one got merged into the bullshit (new recipe) thread?
  16. Hwy - 10L/100km (about 700km+ out of a tank when the light comes on) City - 14-15L/100km (about 450-500km before refueld light comes on) This is before I had my turbo back exhaust and hi flow filter in.
  17. 5 litres for $62 from Glen Waverley Nissan. Sounds reasonable? Brighton was gonna charge $70 That's plenty for top ups...right? The trans oil level is a tad below the "cold" mark on the dipstick.
  18. OK will do guys...
  19. LOL I know, but I need the part number for the seal so I can get it from Nissan! I don't believe I can just go in and be like "hey gimme a transfer case seal for my sutegea!!!!"
  20. Anyone wanna load up FAST and tell me wats the part number for the seal?
  21. Hmm i'd have to ask Scotty - he got a good look at it.
  22. Hmm say thanks to her for me...soz forgot her name LOL... Can I mix Matic J with Nulon stuff? I don't want to flush and refill... So I just top up the trans fluid and this should keep the fluid loss at bay until I get the seals fixed? Would any transmission joints be able to fix the seal?
  23. Took my car to Scotty's house over the weekend to get Customer dump, front pipe, and hiflow cat + Legalis R fitted. Picked it up last night. It sounds sooooo sweet! Also fitted a new hi flow air filter (Blitz SUS Power)...thanks to Scott I now know how to pull out the airbox! things noticed: Fuel economy improved - since I the exhaust has less restriction, the engine doesn't work as hard to maintain cruising speed or accelerating. I noticed that I used to hover around 2200 RPM when i was doing 100kph on the freeway, where as now its about 1800 RPM. Boost comes on earlier - the turbo used to start spooling after the 2500 RPM mark, whereas now it spools at 2000 RPM. Car definately seems to pick up faster also. The only downer (to me - this is my 1st turbocharged/exhaust'ed) is obviously the noise. Idling noise and full throttle sounds great, but I've still yet to get used to the constant low gumble when i'm cruising, whether it be at 60 or 100... Scotty also noticed that the rear transfer case (?) is leaking fluids badly. More $ to spend dammit! Overall, very happy with the results. Huge thanks to Scotty and Aaron who helped to make this happen! BTW wheres the cheapest place to get Matic J in Melb?
