  1. from the the back of the ignition switch
  2. yes 019s do exist and they are different to a 910 as far as i know they are very similar to a 040, except they have a slightly higher flow rate (litres per hour). They also sell for the same price as an 040, so many ppl choose an 019 instead. out of interest does it have an open base inlet??
  3. hey luke welcome to the forums this is kim btw, spoke to you on friday what rims do u have??
  4. they are rated at 102 litres per hour @ 6.5 bar pressure as far as rwhp rating, i have seen them used for 300rwhp applications, however i am unsure how far they can go above that.
  5. in most cases, yes. depends on a few factors, but as mentioned the increased pressure would decrease the ability of the spark to arc across the gap. might have no such problems with aftermarket coils, but it doesnt take much work to close the gap a little.
  6. cam sensor gaskets and o rings are designed to be reused
  7. i also experienced this, havent had a problem or noticed any difference however. i would expect the quality to be the same also, mainly i was just concerned coz instead of a cool blue one, its like a gay ivory colour lol. still i buy them cheaper then ryco anyways, so i wont be changing.

dunno if im right, but they seem to specialise in heat exchangers air con condensors, radiators and intercoolers etc
  10. hacksaw the cover so u only have the part which the ignitor sits on then screw that back down looks like u have no cover - but the ignitor is still secure
  11. What oil would u recommend steve? im chasing something 10-40w and arent real happy with mobil S
  12. hey, im also searching havent rang the WA distributor tho yet, which i will do soon enough i know motorquipe stores sell motul. but their range is pathetic and dont have the one i want (plain old turbolight semi synth)
  13. dont cheap out when it comes to globes, i can vouch for the fact that the cheaper ones (narva etc) fail often, while the european brands (hella, phillips, tungsram) last years if u having difficulty finding globes try an auto electrician, or somewhere like coventrys

  20. from memory a company called "ACA" manufacture or remanufacture them they also do most nissan crank sensors, but have been told that they arent the best quality, maybe this also applies to the igniter? best of luck
  21. with immobilisers and alarms they can become fairly involved just take it to a auto sparky not those ones that start with d and end in eerings tho ;P
  22. haha chris
  23. 019 is basically a slightly higher flowing version of the 040 - it cannot be used as an external pump because of its approx 55-60mm inlet. 910, 070, 044 etc are all listed as external pumps - however, this does not mean they cant be adapted for intank use.
  24. mine was originally nics and has a r200 nope mine is white
  25. also to answer some questions from your first post only the 1985,86 and very early 87 had "uncovered" tail lights, the rest had series3 oz style lights. The difference is not just the smoked plastic cover, the lenses and reflectors are quite different to each other. Similarly, not all import r31s had projector headlights, the 85 series2 style obviously did not, and the 1986 cars also missed out, having standard headlights, like those on australian s3 r31s. gtr69 - as far as i know all imports had r200 just for your own interest racsov500.... my own car is a 1986 gts coupe, with updated projector headlights and original gts uncovered tail lights (black as opposed to passage grey). It also has the updated front grille, with GTS monogrammed into the left hand side. The 1986 versions had a central GTS badge. These cars came with the NICS rb20det, which i binned for a r32 rb20det silvertop. i hope u succeed in owning your own r31 in the next few years
