A bit late but i used garage 7 the last time i had my car serviced checked over, plus tuned. TBH i cant recommend them enough especially with their customer service and ability to preform any work. Give them a call. EDIT plus they fixed my previous tune and stayed till about 8pm to do it. Decs is a top bloke.

Worth Upgrading From Pfc To Haltec Platinum Pro?
Grimesy replied to BlackBox's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What is everyone's consensus on haltech plug in vs link G4 plugin? About to upgrade for flex fuel, so both 98 and e85. Tuner can do both mainly a street vehicle. -
If you can afford new, get scotty on here to make you one. Nice bit of gear, with silicone and lines to match.
-
Well done, running just under 6 min/km. how often do you run? Most people struggle with anything 6min/km over that distance. I only just broke past the 5 min/km last week and I usually run twice a week. Although I don't run 12 km often.
-
For the street it will be fine. Depending on the exact clutch, that will be the first thing to go. I suggest putting up the clutch brand and model so we can tell you if it is up to the task. If you are doing heavy Motorsport it may not be good enough. Simon s14 broke third gear multiple times in his drift car but like I said he was pushing 350 and it was Motorsport only. TLDR for street it will be fine.

Mine was a different scenario to the guy that asked about transferring a "defected cars engine to a non defected chassis". Already have it fairly stealth and registered however there are a few parts that would need removal if i got defected. Just wanted to know the process here for switching an engine if need be. I don't really want to go over the pits if i don't have to like most people.

So Rolls if i was to put a neo engine in my 33, would i still need to revert everything back to stock or would they just check the engine numbers and away i go?

http://mobile.abc.net.au/news/2014-08-01/sierra-leone-declares-state-of-emergency-as-ebola-toll-rises/5639772 Seen this terry, also thought that Ebola has an incubation period of three or so days before the symptoms occur?

Wheel Sizes & Offsets For Skylines
Grimesy replied to Sydneykid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Curious to know what offset you are running? My 9+22 sits out slightly further than this. Sorry if it has been mentioned. Is it a 9.5 on the front as well? Btw nice clean car. -

Possibly Going Back To Shock And Spring Combo
Grimesy replied to dyl33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Just try and get bilsteins even if they are not the SK kit ones. I got regular bilsteins from GSL Rallysport. They might have decent or possibly cheaper prices than the SK kit. I seem to recall i got mine for $1300 with kings(a few years ago now). -
Thought i would post up my results of Stao's fantastic handywork. My car has sat in my garage for 1.5 years, and finally got round to fixing it. Unopened RB25 Pretty much the usual stuff. 740cc injectors PFC Greddy rad and cooler. Scotty Intake Just a typical hiflow which i bought 15 months ago. I was told it would see 230kw on 98 and roughly 260 on e85. Anyway today i picked my car up and got this: All on BP98. Might be interesting if i put it on the juice. Highest run was 265.
-
They are no different to the old ones, although i do remember someone having trouble with the newer models of PFC. Have a search in the FI section. Also there are better out and about now days too, however the benefit of the PFC is most tuners know what they are doing with them.

Everytime i see that AFM, i crack up with laughter. Never gets old.

Wtb R33 radiator shroud. Number should still be above.

What is everyone currently using battery wise these days? Currently got an Optima Blue Top but was thinking i might get something a tad lighter. Currently not in the car, so thought i might see whats out there. Also don't post if you have no idea about which batteries are "defectable"/safe or not. Previous owner of my car installed the wrong battery and had a few issues with leakage afterwards.

All sorted now.

Need a set of RB25 cam covers by Thursday. need to be relatively clean so i can give them a quick clean and get them on my car. 0438 200 six zero three.

Not to sure it should, it is to be used with a pod though, wont fit with standard airbox. Looks really nice though. Andrew makes alot of solid gear.

All Type Crash is also another good place. Many get their cars fixed there from SAU. Depends on location TBH, but both Edwardstown and All type do good work.
