RB26 Water injection - E85 alternative
The-Lowdown.com replied to The-Lowdown.com's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Thanks @ActionDan. That's basically what I was after. Understand the benefits of going to a newer single but to be honest I quite enjoy the way it drives on -5s. @Dose Pipe Sutututu car doesn't need to much more camber... don't let the name fool you. I have a pretty tidy example....- 15 replies

Hi All, Keen to discuss water injection set ups as an alternative to E85 on mildly modded GTRs. I have an R32 GTR with basic bolt ons, -5 turbos making 360kw on pump 98 fuel. The car has been at this power level for 6+ years now and is due for a touch up tune. After chatting with the team at Unigroup they suggested thinking about adding a water injection kit which will deliver good gains. Internally thee engine is still standard so i don't think i necessarily want to push more power through it but it is quite tempting. Love to hear everyone's thoughts on this technology in a street car? pro's and con's cheers

Can anyone help me with some pads fro my r32 Gtr. I have r33 gtr brembos, endless front rotors, braided lines. I'm after something decent as its a weekend car but don't want noise... This is what I've been through in the space of 6months: Endless cc-rg (incredible brake pad, ticked all the boxes but we're so noisy) Project mu B spec (not bad at all but still very noisy even with the project my shims) Project mu ns400 (just had these and they were ok at the beginning but are also really quite noisy) I can't find anything that is relatively quiet. The above were all super noisy. So over it and tempted to try and buy some standard pads. Any suggestions with low to no noise? Before you ask, brakes have been rebuilt with all genuine parts and been inspected since -
Hi guys, Up for sale is my Abflug style carbon front splitter to suit R32 GTR. I've had the splitter for about 3 years and used it on the street and track days. There are some scratches underneath which is to be expected but nothing major. Im selling this with all nuts, bolts, rubber washers and mounting brackets. The front mounting holes have been re-enforced with aluminium to ensure it is fine on the track. PRICE $300 Located in Sydney Will post more photos up today
