Howdy Just bought a new Bosch fuel pump and I was wondering if I should buy a new fuel strainer for in the tank? What is the part number for a strainer for an R32 GTSt, how much and where would I buy one from? Also what brand/part number do I need for a fuel filter? Any help muchly appreciated!

I'm still waiting to get mine too. I PM'd 321GO the 18th and he wrote back on the 19th saying that "Eta is today but........ Gotta be real soon dude" Fingers crossed it will arrive soon. Even though I won't be able to install it for a little while it would be nice to have $1300 worth of FMIC kit in my hot little hands so I can look at it with a big grin in anticipation of all the future mods I suppose the wait is the problem with buying something that isn't pre-built straight off the shelf. I have bought from Unique Autosports before and had no problems. I think the wait is because the FMIC's are being built by another company. Good things come to those who wait.........not tooooooo long though hopefully!!!!

It sounds as thought the Profec B Spec II is about the size of my HKS turbo timer. I should have no probs fitting it all in......just the small matter of saving the money now!!! Just wondering what the dimensions of the Trust Profec B Spec II are? I've had a bit of a search around but I can't find them. I'm hoping to fit one in the DIN tray with the flip down lid in my R32 GTSt. I've already got a HKS turbo timer in there and have my fingers crossed that it will fit.

RPM are about 400m away from where I live. Might have to get a quote from them. :burnout:

I hope this isn't a stupid question but I'll go ahead anyway..... JAPSIX did you change the colour around the inside of the doors, boot etc so when you open them it's not completely obvious that the car has been resprayed? The reason I ask is that I have always wanted to paint my wine red car a deep "violet crumble" blue/purple or a deep browny black colour like a celica that was on the cover of Hot 4s a couple of years ago....maybe I liked that colour because of the blond bending over the bonnet hehehe

Have you got an ash tray compartment and also that DIN size flip down compartment that is under the stereo?

Takes a little while to get used to bu the best advice has been given already....take the bumps on an angle. Also make sure you keep your speed right down as it'll allow the suspension to absorb the bump and different ground angles without bouncing.

Ahhh that kind of centre console!! I thought you meant the DIN compartment with the flip down cover that goes under the stereo. Sorry, I'm not interested in the centre console you've got.

I'll probably get everything else installed and sorted before I think about a bigger turbo.....don't think the taxman will cover everthing plus a turbo this year. In fact I don't think he'll cover much of everything else!! Does anyone know if Bosch makes injectors suitable for an R32 GTSt?

The Zoom magazine from a month or two ago had a great article on upgrading the RB20DET to 160rwkw, 220rwkw and beyond. Chris32: I'm finally getting some parts together to upgrade my stock R32GTSt....you may remember on the SAU dyno day at Tilbrooks last year it made a whopping 105rwkw!! I think at the time Brains said something like " don't let this one get away from you" hehehe I bought Clint32's old 3 inch front pipe, high flow cat and exhaust and now I am buying a FMIC as part of the group buy on these forums. I'm also gonna buy a boost controller...thinking Hybrid electronic at this stage...what do you have? As for airflow filter I'll probably just get a K&N panel filter. I can also get a brand new Bosch 040 fuel pump for a great price from a mate...do these make much noise? Also hoping on some good deals at this weekends Auto Salon ** fingers crossed** My ultimate aim is to get 210rwkw so can say I have made a 100% improvement over the stock power. Obviously a bigger turbo is required and also some engine management changes. I was wondering where you got your ECU remapped and how much it cost? I'll probably get a couple of quotes to get everything installed and tuned in one go as I'm not that mechanically minded!! Bl4ck32: I hope there isn't a charge for freight. Earlier in this thread it said that freight was free. Maybe UAS can confirm this....it was the BIG selling point for me. You could probably do a direct deposit to UAS so just ask them - cheaper than money order. Not sure on deliveries...I'm just a customer. I plan to pay off the total cost around the 24th July when I get paid. I don't mind if it takes a week or two afterwards to get it delivered.
