  1. Don't go running out of fuel. I was very close in my brothers S13 before I filled up.....couple weeks later the fuel pump shit itself.....coincidence or not....I don't know. I've heard that there's usually lots of gunk in that last bit that's not good for the engine. Can someone say this is true or a myth?
  2. I'll come along as I haven't taken my car on a cruise for a while. whatsisname....I'm going to Jamiroquai on Saturday night. Can't wait......warm evening....hot venue....good music....:headbang:....lots of ladies...and hopefully.....:boobs:...:cuddle:.......:sperm:....but most probably.....:whackit: hahahahaha
  3. Thanks for a good day everyone. Even though my figures were the lowest on the day it gives me a benchmark to work on for when I start doing statrt spending money and do some mods. That 60rwkw gain on that R33 after and muffler and cat swap sure opened my eyes!
  4. How long does it take to do each car? The reason I ask is that it looks as though there might be 25 cars all up so I would assume it will be fairly busy. I'm not sure if I can spare all of Saturday if it takes too long, otherwise I'll have to put myself down for a maybe.
  5. Hi I'm interested in coming along. My R32 GTSt is stock at the moment but it'd be good to get a benchmark run. Free advice on the day will also be very handy....especially if Mr. Taxman is generous enough! (crosses fingers hard!!) Keep us posted on payment methods. I can drop mine off anywhere in Adelaide. Seeya
  6. I haven't done anything yet about it. I'm going on a cruise up to Colinsgrove with the SVD club on the weekend so I'll fill up and see if it happens again. If it leaks again then I'll get it checked out. BTW on that "Whoa" photo is that a car coming towards the camera on the crest in the distance?
  7. Nice pics Graham! That wide shot at Mt Lofty is great.
  8. Nice pics! The pics you have labelled as Marone.... is my car. You can could rename them Tim R32 or Doglet R32 if you want. Hopefully Graham (R33 GTST 4Door) can get his pics up as he took a fair few. Seeya next time!
  9. Thanks for the great cruise! Tip for the newbies like me......when Munro tells everyone to watch out when they get to the crests just before Birdwood and make sure you slow down for bridge MAKE SURE YOU LISTEN!! Slow down BEFORE the bridge and not when you are just about on it!! After my 4 wheel slide on the bridge I decided that the rest of the day would just be a casual cruise. What song was I listening to at the time??.....Out of Control by The Chemical Brothers!! Might have to save that track for the straight stuff and not the twisty stuff. Looking forward to the next one.....:burnout:
  10. Just did the online quote thing. For a grey import Nissan Skyline, with 30% NCB, driver 25y.o. male, I get Annual payment: $38202.60 Don't think I'll be taking up that offer!!
  11. I had a similar experience with SuncorpMetway. I'm 25 years old but I am only a Rating 4 driver cause I haven't owned a car that needed full comprehesive insurance before. I now drive a R32 GTS-t. Anyway I rang them up and told them my details and the person on the line said "Ummm you're gonna laugh when you hear this....$20,000" I told them that I think their database is a buggered or not upto date or something. I was asked if I live in a high risk area and I told them it was if you considered grandma's and grandpa's high risk!! I declined the offer to speak to a manager but now I think I should have to blast the crap out of them! I think Suncorp cater to Brisbane & Sydney more than anywhere else.
  12. Clint32 - It depends on how generous the tax man is and also how many times I'll have to travel to see Port Power play in the finals!! (no flames please ) Basically I want to get a full exhaust system, pod filter, intercooler etc. I'm not looking for drag strip performance but I am looking for better than stock within a budget of maybe $3000-4000 over the next 12 months or so. I'm also wanting to find out who does good bodywork and spray painting jobs as I want to go over a few options. I'll be at the cruise I reckon so I'll be the one asking all these questions around the place!!
  13. I'm a newbie to the forum and also to the Skyline ownership scene. I've had my stock R32 GTSt for about 6 months now. I might come along to ask lots of dumb questions and find out where the best places are in Adelaide are to buy stuff & get mods done. I'm also hoping that my copy of the R32 engine manual will arrive in the mail tomorrow so I'll bring it along if anyone wants to have a look. Catchya later
