oh cool thanks for the answers, found the nulon with 10w40 and a castrol with 0w 40, i have read the goods on oil sticky, but cant understand it too well, whats the 10w or 0w mean?

hello all, well my question is im going to change on the weekend, and was wanting advice on oils, i have read the oil sticky thread, and im just trying to get my final idea, i dont race or thrash this car, its all stock, done under 100K kms, and every time i start it up in the morning it seems to struggle holding the revs and konks out, but gets to stable levels about 3 starts, so i think its something to do with the thickness with cold starts, so would 0w-30 or 40 be a good oil then? how many litres does the RB20DET take also? how many i need? and im wanting to use a K&N oil filter, as im not too sure where to get a genuine one? im in SA so if people know places then please help me out. thank you for any feedback

i didnt know where to ask, so anyways the other day i noticed my speedo wasnt working when driving home from work and so i started too look around on the forums and a lot of people have said the cable must be broken so ive looked for a replacement, but now i dont know where it should replaced, if anyone knows links or has pictures of where its located and how to fix it myself that would be greatly appreciated
