The Evolution Of "night Fury"

Still waiting for my wheels to come back...(its killing me ) Also need help with tyre sizing.... Rims are 18x9s Was going to get 235 40 and 255 35 but a certain part of me still thinks 225 45 and 245 40 is the better way to go. I like the look of streeeeetch Good thing I hav'nt ordered them yet. So looking for opinions but I want pictures to help me decide (as far as possible please) -
I have 18x9 inch rims. Deciding what size tyres to get. Car is lowered on king springs Tending towards 235 40 and 255 35 OR 225 45 and 245 40 Give me opinions but I want pictures to help me decide.... I like the look of stretch to be honest but want something "reasonably" practical as well. PICTURES ARE KEY..so put them up if you have any (please)

Last time I am sending pictures on my phone....... My silly phone screen displays colours that are SO different to what you see in real life / on a computer. I sent a picture of what I wanted as a final product thinking that the colour was perfect as per my phone - turns out it was symons gold and totally different to what I really want. Thankfully the boys @ Killer Kustoms were smart enough to pick up on it and thankfully confirmed before going ahead. This is the picture I sent from my phone This is the colour I actually want - subtle and not in your face Top secret gold. Looks a little dark because this is inside their office but looks nice in natural light. -

You no get ma seat cover niggaaaa !! Update: Ordered these this morning.... Could not find bolt on spacers in less than 15mm so ordered a set (see below) where I get the two 15mm bolt ons that I need and a few extras to play with when "posing" !! -

Thanks mate There was a time when I was tempted to go with your setup (black on black looks killer too). ITS MY BIRTHDAY !! Went for a trial fit this morning to my local tyre place to finalize sizing etc. As of now I am going to run 235/40R18 fronts and 255/35R18 rears Will be ordering my new tyres soon. Also, want the car looking the way I want it now so going to run 10 or 12 mm bolt on hubcentric spacers on the fronts to get the wheels looking a tad more agressive. (provided I find some - only found 15s so far) There is no way in hell I am running slip ons - say what you may! Will not have to change the factory bolts as the rims have space for the protrusions (yay!!)....so might end up running spacers on the back as well. (P.S. I am aware of the legal stuff). Stay tuned. -

This was delivered earlier today............ In other news.... Going to spruce up the rims as best I can and then put all four on the car to narrow down what tyre specs I want to run. Leaning towards 245s 40/45 18 (common size and therefore cheaper) - though I would like to run 255s. Also debating what tyres to run.....tossing up between Ku31s, Sumitomo z111s and Toyo T1 sport -

Spent the whole of this morning cleaning out the shed and found heaps of old boxes that were going in the bin..so then decided to mess about with some old posters I had... and then before you know it...I ended up with this In other news.....ordered myself one of these......to keep the "stealth" look going under the hood. -

Cheers man...and yeah that is a good point and something that I did not really think about (the restriction part I mean). Guess if I ever chase big numbers (inevitable at some stage I am pretty sure) I will work on a side mount plate setup and / or get slim line plates. For now J E Z is good enough for me This is a random picture of my car while out in the winter drizzle this morning. Was a handful what with the light rain and cool dense turbo friendly air. Will upload pictures of the engine bay once I finish tidying it up. Looking forward to the July break to get some of the aforesaid small projects done and finally order those damn rims. Been putting car stuff off for so long its making me depressed - nothing like a good old "spend on new car bits" !! Cant wait to see the car with an aggressive offset, deeper dish and chunky wide ass tyres. I love the kit and overall look to bits but the wheels need to "come out more" and be "bigger" so that the car can be lowered more without scrapping bits off and to fill up those guards. -
Yeah we already established that....apparently it was a nismo edition in my defence...I did say it was custom made - custom made copy that is...hahahaaaa!!!

FINALLY got to work on the car again....forgot how happy it makes me Did not get any before shots...but this was during the process I read it somewhere on here and have since then been using the vaseline trick......it works a treat with preventing paint to settle on rubber bits...seals, piping, hoses etc. Just apply...paint...wait till dry and then rub off. Will get some pictures of the end result up soon hopefully. -

So last evening I walked to the car after work....started it.....turned the wheel to back out.......and was met with this loud groan.....played with the wheel and found that it creaked every time it was turned to almost full lock (both sides)....did this at standstill and at low speeds.....was too tired to investigate in detail last night so drove home. First thing this morning I addressed the issue and found it was the power steering fluid (too low) and that it was'nt exactly a very healthy colour either. So flushed out the old and put in new fluid. Will monitor. (wondering if it is merely coincidence or if DOMO is playing up !!) No new updates......target is May for new goodies. -
