  1. You guys make it sound so simple, can any competent AutoTransmission shop do this for me, switch the springs with these welsh plug things for faster and harder shift ?. Im up for a automatic service anyway and i wouldnt mind requesting one of these for a reasonable price. Could i ask where you got this done, im down in sydney and dont know any good Automatic shop.
  2. I have the exact same wheels and painted it BLACK.....you did a better job then me....people thought i was crazy doing it with a spray can, but it turned out mad like yours and 8 months later its not peeling or being chipped off by rocks its staying fresh like the day i did it.
  3. Put Some wheels on it, Lower it and do a little body work then the jokes on you. RWD, light and decent p-plate power and CHEAP the boys at Top Gear UK respect it and watched tsuchiya drift one around a track stock engine but with good suspension setting, and he gave it a good score, so Its a huge Homosexual Car for guys who like RWD and an open roof.
  4. pfffff in America they have TSA putting their hands down peoples pants and feeling up children for Bombs...no shizz they got footage of these Federal Airport Security searching children. Apparently they dont profile so everybody goes through a "terrorist search", That Country has some serious issues and no wonder they feel they need Gun. When texas tried to ban these TSA the federal goverment threatened Embargo and no fly zone which is a an Act of war ( this occured a couple months ago)...., Those people need Guns more then us lol.
  5. MX5.....you cant go wrong RWD covertible and fun to drive or a GTI golf or something like that your only restriction is speed but you dont need it because the cops are looking for dumb p-platers now... or R34 or S15 or GTFO if im in my Nissan Fanboy Mood lol.
  6. panel filters are the way to go, drop in and play, easy and efficent.....i had a pod for a couple of weeks till i went back to the stock set-up not going to bother with a pod again on a NA car.
  7. they deserve to be put in a USSR Siberian Camp for 10 years so they can see how much of a big man'g they are, Australian jails seem to be a vacation for Theives and Criminals if they are willing to parade around Sydeny in a stolen car. You have given me an incentive to upgrade my security system, i think the 3 point immobiliser sounds good.
  8. I found this on youtube, dont know how accurate this test is but Nulon was performance winner. Does not mean it offers the best protection for your engine.
  9. 10W30 recomended for RB25DE, i go with Valvoline Synpowers for my last service found it quite good and after 5-6 months still has the rich honey like color to it after 2300km of driving. However never 100% impressed im going to try Royal Purple, a friend with a S15 uses it and recomends it for japs cars so ill give it a go.
  10. Parts of it i think are just sensationalism, like the lighter skyline just missing the innocent car, but another reason to keep racing on the track !!!!.
  11. Rev it and see where the noise is comming from, mine was near the Cataytic converter so i figured it was stuffed.....turned out the component inside was loose so i replaced it....its sounded like metal grinding on cement.
  12. I know you did a good job, but there were 25GT owners who swear the pads were the same as a R33GTS and then i had you and some people claim the maxima pads, very confusing but i got it done and can say your assesment on the pads is right.
  13. Sucks for you that $ 160 is money down the drain, and be prepared to dish out another $120 for labour because its most defintely coilpacks. There are people on here who swear on the Skyline Bible that error 21 is 98% of the time coilpacks, i had the same problem not to long ago. i did the reseach straight away and found that a pin and ecu adapter will give me a code free of charge, i also trusted the guys and gals on here that 21 is infact coilpacks and purchased yellow jackets from our good friends at performance wise, Family mechanic charged me a mad discount for sparkplugs + coilpack installation, Car is running sweet.
  14. Its a complete Mission to find almost any part for a NA R34 just another negative of owning this car and because of this i find myself putting off fixing up certain faults, brake pads need changing and i might need to go to nissan and pay a premium price im guessing and wait a while like i did for one bearing that took over 2 weeks, so a clarification on aftermarket Pads will really be great if there is any 25GT couple owner out there knows both Rear and Front setup for a coupe 25GT
  15. No RB in silvia then lol, i gave thought to it but never bothered reseaching whether it will work ,engine conversions dont seem like fun at all, anyway good idea or not weight is the NA's number one killer.
  16. R34 NA is to heavy.....RB25DE in a S15 is Maaaaaad fun because it wieghs like 1200kg and the engine will love that, otherwise NA=slow + boring on the steets....
  17. Dont bother 206kw is plenty, and their is no special way to inhance your engine capabilities........you do it like every other naturally aspirated ride....exhaust, extractors, podfilter ( heatshield ) have your ecu tuned ETC, trying to get power from NA is for people with lots of cash to blow who are pleased by minimal gains.....so if your happy to achieve about 20-30hp increase doing these things then go ahead, you probally wont even feel the gains of it nothing like the big smile you will get by putting a strapping on a turbo .
  18. FOR R34...... I understand how to take apart the Centre console and Airvents, but im more intrested in removing the side pillars ( the circled things in my pic) out as well to prepare for painting.....i notice a lot people fix up their centre console and gear surround but leave their side pillars scratched and looking worn out like mine, is it to hard to remove or time consuming ?. What im really asking is someone to give me a clue to how to remove this and whether anybody has tried to paint these and what color or product they have used to matich OEM spec. Anyway thanks for any help i get !!!
  19. You need to run an error check on that ECU like this guy in his R34 do what this guy does and then record your error code and then look it up the code here. Otherwise Oil change and Filter aint going to do nothin unless your very low on oil and thats the problem.
  20. looks epic...except i want to do mine GTR style and just paint the aircon unit and vents surround with a similiar OEM color. Im thinking about doing Tungsten with poweplus but your color looks really nice....what product did you use power plus ? and is the color milenium jade?.
  21. paint it.....why not there stockies and it cost under $50, just recruit one of your mates to help you like i did and the proccess is easy and the ending result could shock you.....my BLACK stokies came out okay for first try if i was to do it again it should come out better. I also helped my uncle paint his ford rims in time for his weeding and they came out even better.
  22. 8-9 Seconds R34 NA Auto.....without any Stressfull lauches on the engine and gear box,,,,,i got that time with tired coils and crappy Spark plugs, interested to to see what the result will be with new Yellow jackets and sparkies.
  23. my stockish R34 down to the rims (DIYpaint job on the holidays) is Fresh to death.
  24. buying a manual is the smartest thing to be honest and it would be illogical to convert a NA for that money, i dont know what your expecting from a manual i driven one its not that different and i would say my Auto pulls just the same if not harder then a Series 2 with 60000ks on the clock.......or thats just maybe me.
  25. I dont think you guys have a coilpack problem considering there is no engine light that should be on to indicate this, even if the petrol injector cleaner does not work it does not hurt to throw it in....my mechanic does it to all the cars he servies and reckon its helping to a degree.
