Bonnet Gap In This Car Im Going To Look At.
starwarz replied to starwarz's topic in General Automotive Discussion
He claims only a pod filter, an aftermarket strut brace maybe is all i could think of that might be pushing it up. Thanks mate. Might be so my R34 was missing some rubbers but never sat like this, might be different for the S15, thanks. -
Bonnet Gap In This Car Im Going To Look At.
starwarz posted a topic in General Automotive Discussion
Read up on a lot of guides to inspecting cars, one thing to look out for is panel gap which can indicate a crash. This 200sx S15 im thinking of inspecting is showing some panel gaps in the pictures, the thing is the ad is quite appealing and the car is located in a good area close to me, its claiming log books/service history and stock standard apart from pod, its got factory floor matts and badges are all there unlike 95% of other s15s, and interior seems to be looked after, and its got no write off or stolen history but the panel gap i see in the picture seems very noticable. Im going to look at it anyway and discuss this matter with the seller. What do you guys think of the panel gap is it bad repair job or could it be a number of other things ? -
Your lack of confidence to drive it hard comes from the fact you havent incrementally built up power, its also much more enjoyable to go through that process.

Tbh i like yellow wouldnt mind a yellow R34 or S15, looks more exotic.

R34Gt Auto Converted To Turbo Manual Rb25Det Neo
starwarz replied to daineisdabomb's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Sound like a lot of Fudging around for the average joe who just wants his car to go shutututu, you did what a lot of people with NA's want to do but lack the mechanical knowledge, time or funds to bother when R34's and S15's can be had for under 15k these days. Otherwise good effort. -

Good First Turbo Car For 6-7K?
starwarz replied to go_away_p_plates's topic in General Automotive Discussion
do research s14 are a great platform and so is the r33gtst. They both delivsr performance differently, and the SR20 responds well to mods as does the rb25. sellers wbo have been on the market for long are usually happy to negotiate. i would also think the s14 would mean lower insurance sincd its not a import. -

Call To Ban Young Drivers In Performance Cars
starwarz replied to R TUNE's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Goverments not going to waste their money on saving potential lives through offering defensive driving courses or goverment sponsored track days, or having school driving courses.....it shits me when i hear of all the money being wasted in programs such as the home insulation program. Goverment is just so beauracratic that there is no big idea's for these types of issues, its always just 'BAN'....ban guns, ban cars, ban drugs ETC ETC. Their not interested in actually helping and solving the issue they like to blame the tools and not the user. we need a national petition to help organise this, grassroots type of organising by car clubs, forums etc who are crying out for these types of programs because at the end of the day will never get this from our goverment unless someone up high is going to lose an election or their job.
