The trend is its people you know who might have told people they know ETC....,Happened to my Uncle and Autie all the time they will drive to the car scenes in Brighton ETC before the cops put a stop to it ! and a couple a scumbags will follow them home or get info of their mates and the next thing you know a week later the car has been pinched. Thats why avoid car meets in general or driving to hot spots where these people are.
-
they are either looking for a joy ride expect to get it back thrashed and needing a rebuild or they take apart and sell. keep your eye out on ebay and othrt sites for parts unique to your car. In england they pinch them and put them on boats to eastetn europe. at leasts it not leaving Australia....good luck.

I think global warming is an example of a liberal agenda to get everybody behind a socialist agenda, its created many fanatics who are suggesting in journal arcticles in which the majority of the gullible would never read and the media will never report on. Depopulations and ways to acheive it so we can save the world from global warming doomsday. The Medical Journal of Australia has published a report by a professor who suggests that couples with more than two children should be charged a lifelong tax to offset their extra offspring's carbon dioxide emissions. The report in an Australian medical journal called for parents to be charged $5000 a head for every child after their second, and an annual tax of up to $800, reports the AAP. And couples who were sterilised would be eligible for carbon credits under the controversial proposal. The report, written by Perth specialist Professor Barry Walters, also suggests that the government should introduce a "baby levy" in the form of a carbon tax in line with the "polluter pays" principle" Just giving an example, wonder why the great western powers have nothing to say against China's one child policy. These are the same people who will rather keep Africa undeveloped then letting them see any modern production capabilities and they will have their scientist tell you its bad if Africa starts using oil because the Arctic will melt. Theygive them some bullshit Windmills and Solar panels but they arent getting anything remotely productive out of it.

i disregard the estimateas on how long oil will last. scientist always serving some up to no good agenda. when the oil companies stary reporting they cant produce then start panicig

Teenager, first time car....are you allowed to drive a Turbo ?. Anyway their are plenty of R34 examples to go though that are local. For some people its takes months, took me 2 days going through dealers down at parramatta road walking from one car i didnt like to the next. i walked past the car yard selling my future R34 because it was full of Toyota yaris, Corrolla's and Mazda 3,4,5,6 thinking their was no way the car i wanted was in there......Luckily my dad agreed to come and he decided he wanted to check out some mazda's 3 because he likes them while i chased up some dodgy looking supra at the next dealership. My dad walks over with a smug look not to long after the cleanest R34 was sitting all the way at the back of the dealership he was checking out. So dont think Japan is your only option for these cars.

Some can be said by a lot of Turbo drivers.....im not taking your approach and saying all because that's just against logic, i know a R34 GTV owner who is not part of any car forum, does not care for the JDM scene and would make any parents proud with his driving. Simply bought it because it looked nice, low KMs and okay driving mileage...he wants a hatch back fuel efficient motor for his next car.
-
Somewhat True, but because you like the JDM image and your loyal to it does not make you a Poser, to be a poser you need to be an obnoxious tool about it.
-
Dont need big power to have fun, car does not handicap that, if you have the hacking skills then you can have fun in 200hp RWD skyline.
-
Because not about the speed its about being part of this JDM thing,
-
So we are posers for owning a non turbo, learn your skyline history it didnt start off with Turbos going shutututu and AWD, they were naturally aspirated wasnt till the 3rd-4th that turbo was introduced, the Hakosuka 2000GTR the real start of the GTR brand was a Naturally aspirated car if i had a choice out of any Skyline it will be the Hakosuka. If i had a GTR badge on my 25GT then i will be a GTR poser, but you cant accuse it of being a Skyline Poser because it does not meet your narrow minded perspective of the Skyline brand name.

today i Spotted Blue R35 from my silver R34 turning onto Harrow Road Rockdale, was immaculate.
-
Some Autech people i know, secretly want a RB25DE lol, R34 cost less if something does wrong with motor which is very unlikely considering they are tuff and underpowerd in the first place.

Tiptronic Question !!
starwarz replied to r34_skyline's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Its alright, but the 4-speed box in the R34 lets it down if only it was a 5speed. -
Get what his saying, My skyline is not low its actually stock height so i dont scrape or have to worry about speedbumps to much....found myself in a tight spot a week ago in traffic i didnt judge the ange to turn from a lane because i thought the traffic would move foward, so i couldnt exactly turn into the furtherst lane, thanks to my truck spec skyline i was able to ride a little up on the curve and nicely get into the lane, felt like so much win not having to worry about farking up my bumper or say a front lip.
-
suxs how i jump on ebay and there are front lips for all sort of cars in the 80-150 range but the R34 skyline your looking at 250 up, hence why people resort to clark rubber front lips. The price are just to damn high.
-
I thought t about sticker bombing my whole R34 front bumper or the just the lower quartile, they look good in photos and video's such as stanceworks and hellflush and might serve in protecting paint work from rock chips but i dont know how it will turn out so putting that idea off.
-
Might be me, i live in the heart of Rockdale....though if its one parked on the street its not me because mines always parked in a disclosed underground carpark if you seen mine its either me leaving or coming home.
-
^^^ think it would look better with a stock front bumper and front lip, im not really finding the boxy look where the top of the bumper meets with hood to sit well with the look of the car, little more low and you have a nice looking R34.
-
The times that we are in you dont want to be in any country other then Australia when it comes to financial security from the slide in the world economy, and japan is not so crash hot atm its showing signs of growth early 2012 though. Its good to relocate during booms in the world economy right now i think its a little foolish especially for no skill jobs that pay minimium wage.

Spun A Bearing - Rebuild Or Not To Rebuild?
starwarz replied to R33-RB26DETT's topic in General Maintenance
Personally i would do a rebuild, and not cut any corners if im looking at keeping that car for a long time. -
Driving Side Window Pushing Up Against Frame.
starwarz replied to starwarz's topic in General Maintenance
update: took off door skin and as mention by 89cal the adjusters are impossible to miss they basically push the windows in more or out more. I played around with it trying to get the cofiguration i want , but whatever i tried coudlnt get the mirror to stop pushing in . Its gonna have to see a mechanic or something. -
some cars it just sounds louder and harsher when the door is slammed i know my R34 sounds pretty bad, so when a mate does it i let them know to ease the F@ck up because it one of the most irritating sounds and thing to do to your prize possession.
