doubt its spark plugs or coils. It usually starts easily, but will miss on idle or in acceleration. I would be looking else where... most likely something to do with cold start etc. on plugs, on my r33 im using ngk's gapped to .8.. anything over that and my car misses.

Hi, In my R33 I have tanabe suspec dampers and suspec cvs springs. Over bumps it makes very clunky sounds. Anyone know why or what these are. Also, to get it out, do I undo the bolt at the top and theres one also behind the wheel... do i need spring compressors and how do i use them. thanks dave

fark, i thought the reason for sunday was u brissy guys.. so i got all pumped.. anyway, either way i dont give a ****.. sunday is kinda good cos we will prollly have less traffic (maybe). Also doing the cruise then pissup makes for a long day for a lazy sod like me... so splitting it over 2 days is easier.. anyway.. i just want whichever day brings the most ppl , as the turnout has kinda sucked in the past. dave

I would say expect maybe clutch and brake pads. Not always, but people often people will not replace stuff right before they sell. Other costs to expect... when u get the modding bug!: pod filter, fmic, zorst, turbo etc But in the end, its all worth it !

I have a lease on my 4wd. Its basically a secured loan. I pay off $XX per month for 4 years till its all paid off. You could try that I guess.

hey, i wrote that last msg, but was at boxheads.. i moved up from melb about 10 months ago... cant say i prefer it.. but I wont badmouth it. Dont wanna get in trouble from the other QLD'ers I dont cruise at all, but we sometimes go for some quick runs through the hills behind GC. Starting in robina, up to hinze damn, down over the border and back up. Had a bbq last time afterwards.. and planning it again. anyway, will be good to get another member up here. dave

I wouldnt bother about km's... most cars from japan have been fudged with a bit. Just drive a few and compare K's and condition. If you buy through a broker, they will let you know if the condition resembles the km's or not.

well im coming! but im taking the B4... i just took the 33 on a road to boxheads and it was stepping out around every corner without accel just cos the suspension is so damn hard. got it back today, re do roadworthy (try and pass this time) and rego it tomoz... so I am fully up for a cruise of some sort this weekend.. anyone else?

havent heard of the High Tech day.. but it could be fun. There is a dyno day this weekend & also mad mt 4 at the start of november. Otherwise, the brissy ppl and the ppl on the coast are usually up for a cruise, so jump on IRC or have a look in QLD members and pm / email a few ppl if you want to have a cruise on a fri / sat night. dave

Hey guys, it looks like there are a few ppl who may still make this.. assuming their cars are alive and well by the cruise. anyway, there was debate on wether it should run on Sat 2nd Nov or Sun 3rd Nov. If its on Saturday, it means that u dont have to head back home early for work the next day. Sunday is fine too I guess, but more people will need to leave early. Either way, there will be another BBQ & pissup. This time at my house with no broken bones. There is a pool if its hot, a bbq for food, ps2 for gran tourismo 3 comp and place to sleep if you drink too much. I will try and get a map up of the full circuit soon. pls vote for the day only if you are planning on coming. Also, leave a reply if you want to come. cheers, dave
