    skylines australia?

well im back to 3 working cars... hopefully the skyline is back on wednesday. u shoulda seen them come and pick up the audi today... they had to load it on backwards and on a hill.... the truck *ALMOST* flipped right over... only saved by the fact there was a towball.. very lucky indeed..
  2. do u want standard seats?
  3. get clutch done in brissy 1st.. that could help your gearbox problems. At least then you can truse gavin to do a good job on the box.
  4. didnt see the "dreams" bit. Wondered what the ppl from carpoint were on. I gotta say, that IS430 would rock. Basically they have dropped the 4.3 V8 in it and I think it has twin superchargers. I think it makes over 600HP.. That would be my dream car. A luxury sleeper with more mambo than most modified gtr's. Saw a pic of it in a magazine just a few days ago, but cant remember which one.
  5. well, i must admit i am guilty of racing cars in my 4wd. I only do it for some fun... but.. the best thing to do is pretend that u r actually going to race the lancer/excel revving it up next to u, but dont... they take off like a bat out of hell, and u dont even try. They feel like fools afterwards
  6. real integra type r is the jap spec one.. not our detuned peice of shit. also, some of those cars are prototypes anyway, which makes it a stupid list. IS430.. thats just super hotted up car by some german tuning company, the mazda mx5 with the new 6cyl engine.. im pretty sure that doesnt exist in production and the HSV GTS 6.2-litre V8 .. wtf is that? im sure if it existed it would only be in australia and nowhere else.
  7. as i said, someone on the phone said it... also was kinda a joke with the subzero thing

    skylines australia?

well as of today, the skyline and the work audi is off the road... buckled mags, ****ed wheel aligment and bent suspension arms.. ah well, just take it back on monday and get another one
  9. i was talking to someone the other day and mentioned tokyo toys cos nismo bitch never shuts up about them. They were telling me they were super dodgy or something.. but for the life of me I cant remember who it was... In the same conversation, I think they reffered me to sub zero.. so that could explain it.
  10. i know what its like. I sorta did the same thing. Was on holiday in Byron Bay and couldnt find the keys anywhere on the day we were meant to leave. Lucky wrx's are easy to break into, so we managed to pack the car, go to the pub and forget about it. Found the keys 2 days later in one of the girls handbags.... felt stupid, but we got 2 extra days of holiday!
  11. as long as you have a screw driver in your pocket to get the no. plate off
  12. i reckon your best bet would be to find a friend who works at dick smiths or something.. they get like 40% off.. or try the manufacturers/importers direct... should be able to push for more than 10% discount.
  13. u mind me asking what it is/ what its got / how much?
  14. yep thats fine.. but make sure you get the compliance papers, and also check the plates match the vin that is stamped into the firewall. Otherwise you should be right. I took my car home from compliancers without the plates etc as they were still waiting on them in the mail.. so I guess the same could have happened to this guy. Dave
  15. also click here: https://online.revs.nsw.gov.au/revs/public.htm its is most unlikely that a newly imported car will have finance owing, but its always best to be safe than sorry. To do this, you will need vin number etc.
  16. Ok, the car is given a new 17 digit VIN which should be listed on the compliance cert. Also, I have attached a photo of the 2 plates it should have. If it doesnt have these, dont waste your time. He is probably trying to flog it before they even arrive. If it is first registration you will 100% need the compliance certificates. Anyother q's just ask (as im going through this myself at the moment with my new cars) Dave.
  17. Ok, the car should have: a) green compliance plate B) silver vin plate c) complaince certificate d) import approval If it has been registered before, I don't think you need the compliance and import approval, but I wouldnt buy a car without one. It would suck if customs / police came and seized your car and you had no proof of the import etc.. Dave
  18. rough idea of price?

  23. Klas, it might be worth just buying an aftermarket one from a japanese turning company. MIC33R - merli has an aftermarket plenum on his new 'line. Maybe ask him about the mod.
  24. my battery got flat pretty soon as well. Just plugged it into a battery charger that was plugged into the powerpoint. Worked fine after that. I was getting power to the car tho, and it was cranking.. just.. I have a drycell battery, but the terminals are too big for the little clamps on the r33. Anyone know the easiest way to get them to fit.. do i have to buy new clamps? If i do, how do i connect them to the wire...
