if you can get the GTS4 i would go for that. Just like a baby GTR. Also, if you are importing, I would be careful that plates dont run out. last time i was in melbourne i didnt have a car so i borrowed my mates g/f's old prelude. I only noticed the 4wheel steering when i was reversing into the driveway, almost hit a tree it turned so quick but, i didnt notice it at all on the freeway or in other driving..

Well, I thought I would post an official thread as the date is getting closer. We are going to do another Mad Mt cruise with bbq. Plan is fairly similar to last time but I think a longer cruise (with full binna burra hill climb circuit)... then onto my place for a swin and bbq and pissup. bah, it depends on where you hangout and where u drive if u think they r common. Like if you go to broadwater car park of course they are common cos its a bit of an import scene. I wouldnt go calling a car common until you pull up to the lights and there are more than two or three of them also, i find that its usually people driving lancers or similar who say that 33's are too common. Those people must drive with their ****ing eyes shut cos I see about 100 lancers a day and maybe 1 or 2 skylines a day.

Prices vary soo much its not funny. I was looking at a 91 180sx in a dealer the other day for 19,900... yes it was stock as a rock too... where I could get the same car for around $10,000 private sale. It seems as if a reasonable price for a GTR now is around 37,000 - 45,000 for something pretty stock.

i had a stock integra last week and could get spin in 3rd if i really pushed it.. easy in 2nd.. so it shhouldnt be too hard unless you have really wide tires.

they didnt too bad considering how much they were giving the cars. I wouldnt have made it through 3 at that speed the voice over was a bit of bull**** tho.

I dontk now other ppls opinions, but all a dealer does is buys cars of an importer and marks up the price. Its easier just to go to the importers and buy direct. All the private sales on carpoint are just small time importers making a few $$'s for themselves. Either way, you can get dodgy in both so as long as you get a mechanic to thoroughly check the car you should be right.. but with private u have about 5-10k to spend on mods
