yeh - i know whats its like. I was driving the new monaro really hard down a dirt road through some puddles and got into fingal head and the car stalled... everyone was looking saying nice car.. and then it stalls.. u just feel ****ing stupid.. anyway.. does ecu reset sound like a fix?

with knowing absolutely jack ****... maybe an ecu reset could fix the problem. could be worth a try as the efford involved in doing this is pretty minimal. also, you sure u didnt get the pedals mixed up??? i know a few woman that have that problem

hmmm.. I have recaro's in my surf with black on the outside and silver in the middle, so I am thinking getting the black done in leather / vinyl (in black) and not sure what colour for the dash. Its currently just like yours used to be. Do you have any close up photos cos it looks sweet in the photo on your site but i have been told that painting dash's looks cheap close up..?!?

the picture in the 2nd post is most accurate. type m in the 32 comes with the side skirts etc that the normal gtst's dont. in the r33 range, all gtsts are type m.

I gotta find out how he got it looking so clean... currently my 4wd has: single battery k&n cold air intake where 2nd battery used to be turbo smart boost controller (12psi) autometer boost gauge tinted (got that done yesterday) and over the next month i am installing a stock r33 intercooler as a topmount where the old airbox used to be.. i am hoping for around 60+ kw at the wheels ! but hey, they are 45kw standard so a 20kw increase would be good.

MFX - just saw your hilux - nice interior. Where did u get it retrimmed?? and how much would it actually have cost if you had to pay. My hilux has recaro interior and im thinking of retrimming them in leather and suede. Got any numbers I can call to find out costs? thanks Dave. p.s - what did you use on the dash? has it been painted, or covered in leather.. or something else?

do either of u guys have 2.4 turbo in your hilux's? Thats what mine is and im actually considering upgrading the turbo at the moment. Wouldnt happen to have any info on this would u ??

On behalf of boxcar racer: so far, plans are still not finalised but the date is. Current idea is to - * meet up in somewhere north (robina 'ish) * cruise past hinze damn down to mullwilumbah and up to terranora (a backwards mad mt cruise) * have bbq / dinner / pissup * get some ideas going for a club * no drink driving afterwards (as we are all responsible ) boxcar racer has said that if prior arranged people can stay the night to sober up. All ideas welcome. We might even have a mod session / helping each other fix car probs. anyideas are welcome. so far people coming are: nizman me boxcar birty ? slip ? people this is where to give us official numbers. We are looking for 10 plus people to make it a worthwhile get together.

the broadwater carpark has fallen apart a few times, and although the mad mt run II was succesful, it would have been good to get a few more people along. but... i think we need at least 10 people to have a good bbq / pissup / sau discussion.

look in the for sale section here. There are some nice rides at the moment. You could probably got pawel's 500hp r33 series1 for around 30k Then you could be quick, reliable, comfortable and pretty close to 10sec too

nizman, bout time u checked out my surf. Getting a full tint on it tomorrow and might have the intercooler on it before august, but i doubt it. Do you still have your car? If u do we can compare air intake noise (i think mine will be louder!)

can we get an official HANDS UP here just to get an idea. It seems as if some of the qld meet ups havent been so succesful thus far and it would be good to get a big one happening.. so we can discuss club stuff further. i am definately in as its only 2 mins drive for me :wavey:
