hi, just wondering what sort of boost you get if where u have your turbo smart, you just unplugged? reason i am asking is it came off when ****ing around earlier and went for a drive and the boost went off the scale of my guage (20psi) - so im mainly just curious what sort of boost it probably hit.

official press release: Nissan's Sizzling 200SX is Now a GT Nissan has announced the release of a GT Special Edition package for its sensational rear-wheel drive sports coupe, the 200SX. The GT package is available on both variants of the 200SX – the S and the R – and adds an array of sports oriented features to the popular coupe, including leather and chrome interior details and a swooping rear wing. Since its Australian launch in November, 2000, the Nissan 200SX sport coupe has blown its competitors out of the water in the performance and styling stakes – and the GT Special Edition variants offer the sports oriented driver an even more attractive proposition. Confirming its position as one of the great sports cars, the 200SX collected one of the highest accolades in motoring when it became the first vehicle under $100,000 to win MOTOR magazine’s ‘Performance Car of the Year’ award last year. A key element to this sensational performance car lies in the combination of a stunning 2.0-litre DOHC turbocharged engine mated to either a six-speed manual gearbox or optional four-speed electronic automatic transmission. Add to this a comprehensive list of standard equipment – air-conditioning, dual airbags, ABS braking system and remote central locking - and it’s easy to understand why the 200SX has received glowing praise from the media and general public. The GT Special Edition 200SX adds even more features to both the Spec S and Spec R variants, including: - Sporty front leather seat trim - Leather steering wheel - High performance rear spoiler - Polished chrome alloy wheels - Drilled racing pedals - Chrome manual transmission finisher and chrome interior door handles - GT grade badges Recommended retail pricing for the GT Spec S manual is $42,990 and $46,490 for the Spec R manual. Both GT specifications will be available from May 1.

already done the boost. just using a turbosmart boost controller now running 13psi up from around a standard 8psi. The cooler is a top mount as the 4wd has 2 radiators at the front and no room for a front mount.. also saves heaps of piping by having a topmount.

were talking on a diesel here. It farken loud car now. Thats why everyone looks.. a 4wd with psshhh sounds
-
well i just went down to the chinese takeaway and got half the town looking.. with the loud psshhh! as i pull in sweet took heaps of planning and then 1hour max. I had pulled everything apart so many times i knew exactly what to do. The induction noise is a pain in the arse, but i got K&n as at just over $100 i thought it would have to be better than the $40 ****ty ones. the main time was trying to get the damn pipe onto the turbo as the aircon sits right in front. let me just say i hope i never have to take it off!!

well i got bored today and thought i would remove my dual battery setup in the surf, replace with a damn expensive single battery and get rid of the factory air intake (which was on passenger side of engine bay) and chucked in a k&n pod on the drivers side where the 2nd battery used to be. This leaves plenty of room for my top mount r33 intercooler now

it should have come with its own loom. Then all u do is cut out the factory nissan one and wire it into your new loom according to the wiring diag that came with the stereo. U might find some dont get used on the stereo side - eg power ant etc, and from the other side, u might find that your head unit doesnt have dimming, so u will have extra wires left.

as me and boxcar racer discussed this at length today, we have come up with this what we think is a wonderful idea... meet at robina - around 11:30am.. (theres a petrol station just off the freeway to meet up at) then we will do a short version of the mad mt run back to front. This is to go up to hinze damn, then come back through the valley down to murwilimbuh and up terranora rd from there to boxcars place. so we could start cooking at 1:30ish then to a bit of a pissup and ppl can cruise back when they like up the pacific back home.. other ideas welcome.

thats what i thought.. but didnt want to say *each* in case of making myself look like a damn fool - (like someone that would actually pay that much for them!) so, as i said, sourcing them from japan would be the cheapest i guess. also, are these 'red' seats the same as the black ones. We had a 99 integra type r and it had black recaros
-
i remember a while ago that they are very hard to find and are very expensive. I thought someone said that as a honda part (just through a dealership) that they wanted over $4000 for a set?!? best bet would be to contact one of the jap parts companies, or someone on this forum like nengun to source you some direct from a wrecked integra in japan.
