I have heard the R34 rims are actually quite heavy but as I said, i have only ''heard'' it so cant confirm.

A few have sold on the forums.. i think Mack sold a pair... around the 2k mark with tires i beleive. Nice looking rims i think!

Is it the Std series 1 wheel horn? if so I have one.. dave

Gatty, with the money you have to spend I think you would be much better off getting a second hand set of rims. You will usually find jap 2nd hand rims in a1 condition with tires for under $1800. Skyline_Boy - dont know where you get your rim info and prices from, but no point reccomending a rally based wheel that doesnt even have the right offsets....

Great Company in Japan makes rims which look like r34 gtr rims called Grenade GX01 . I read somewhere that they are an exact copy, but not so sure about that. They are cheaper new than a set of 2nd hand gtr rims, have 3 colour choices and heaps of offset choices... so a heaps better idea than getting gtr originals.

I played V8 Supercars yesterday and it was pretty good. never played the 1st, but I like car damage etc. Graphics seem pretty good too. on xbox btw.

Gavin woods recommends N1's when he does the 100km service. Few SAU people have them now. Will go into Autobarn / Supercheap tomorrow and get myself a VL RB30 water pump

i dont go to melb uni, but live on elgin street... so im always around the area... and yes lots of ricey skylines around ... saw a purple harqlequin job with nice Buddy club PII wheels the other day.. to many stickers.. and pink, purple and green arent my fav colours either.

under the impression tho once you have flashed your xbos bios, theres no going back... at least with mod chip you can remove old ones etc.. also the benefit of being able to turn off if you do wish to play xbox live.. although there r rumours that microsoft can now detect even if off- but i have never had a problem.

shanet - i will close this thread now.... but becuase the compliance plate says its a 1993 doesnt mean jack.. i have seen skylines with NIZMO R33 on their plates... its just what the compliance company originally registered for complaince as.... I suggest you get the VIN code checked to be 100% sure.
