yeh it sucks... espeically when you are driving a 2.4 l surf. I have done the trip about 10-15 times now and the Surf was a bitch cos I couldnt overtake anyone in the over taking lanes, yet wanted to go about 20-30km/h quicker than them.

i noticed when looking at zorsts in japan that the blitz nurspec retails for about 40% cheaper than most other brands similar models. does it not have a middle resonator or something?

first offence - up to $3000 fine or up to 4 months in jail. second offence - up to $4000 and mandatory jail for 2-12months also you cant get your license for another 12 months I think it is.

I have bought 2 HKB boss kits. Both were for R33 but about $90 ea from autobarn. They can order in any model you ask for - or they can look it up in the book. When i was looking at the book there were 2 models listed for R32, hicas and non hicas.. I think the hicas one was about $100.

when i went to replace them on my 4wd last time autobarn had the std type in about 5 different colours, (blue, yellow, red, green etc). Thats the actual wiper blade im talking about thats coloured... about 50cents more than the black sets.

Got anything to back that up? Would love to see the rules regarding the brake lights.. but vicroads isnt too useful.

Why waste his time? Im assuming you know that modified cars are not viable to import because of the harsh SEVS regulations...... and also you cant even get compliance for the R34 as of yet.

knore - there have been quite a few strut bars going around lately for around $120. I have not seen any of these (like the ones from Mase's group buy) but I did buy one off ebay about 6 months ago and it was pretty heavy and u could feel it flex just by putting my body weight on it. At the end of the day what you really want is no flex, then weight, then rice. I think the brand name bars are going to be better, but if the price difference is worth it, thats up to you. I cant help you with where to get them etc.. but if you do chose to go for a Jap brand, the best bar by far is the nismo bar with master cylender stopper. They are really strong, light and have a brake stopper built in. Dave.

nfi - the only witness is the neighbour hood weirdo (he was walking his dogs at 3:30 am ffs) and when the cops called him he was on drugs or someshit and told them he never saw anything. Interstate buyers - Border Express in Clayton (Vic) will ship 17" wheels from syd to melb for around $100, and Brisbane to Melb is under $150.. so not bad.

and btw.. its very easy to hook up a switch to only turn off your rear lights... that can be helpful
