my 4wd has been in qld for 2 1/2 years now and still has Vic plates. No problems yet with police - i also beleive they cant defect you.

how much does a GTR cooler weight... $450 would be around 30kg in EMS terms i think.

they are all dodgy, move to Toorak nah seriously, most melb suburbs arent too bad... most 'pov' suburbs still have really nice houses etc... usually nicer than inner city expensive suburbs.

Hey guys, I have some teins for sale that are for R33 GTR. They wont fit a R33 GTST, but I was told that they will fit an R34 GTT and GTR. Had some doubt about this so wondering if anyone can confirm. thanks dave

Melbourne is great... apart from the weather. I think you will find that as long as you join the right car clubs, you will get to spend plenty of time on the tracks.. only problem is they are a fair drive out of town. Tightarseness of cops is pretty similar to QLD. Dont rice your car up too much and u wont have too many problems with defects. When you bring your car down, you dont need to get a RWC. Just need to chuck it on a weighbridge, hand in your old qld plates and pickup vic plates... so no worries there. Dave

A nissan patrol clutch is meant to fit a 33 and 34. I replaced mine with an Exedy Organic Heavy Duty and for the price its great. Workshops such as ICE or BMT in melbourne will be able to source a clutch and install it for you if your not confident to do it yourself. Dave

Personally I think $270+ is too much to spend on a catch can. I know alot of the jap brands are cheaper than that - do they have fins and stuff inside, or just hollow like autobarn ones? I had a jap brand one (ATS or something) and it was filled with what looked to be baffle matterial, so the vapours would stick to it or something - what is this design like?

my friends computer does that too... some gay box always opens up. It happened on SAU before but always on another forum I use. I think its got to do with installing Ms VB or something.

They are stock RB26DETT AFM's. They are std across R32,R33 & R34 From my data, these came stock on alot of different engines - but they were in the A31, Y31 RB20 cars, which makes me think that they probably wont flow as well as a Z32 item. As far as I know, they all have similar flow amounts, apart from the Z32 and Q45 (with the Q45 being your best option as it flows the most, but can be difficult to install as its 90mm).

penfold, thats a Y31/Y32 AFM. Also beleive its the same AFM that comes on RB20 A31's (Cefiro's). Dave A Z32 AFM should have an orange sticker and serial 22680 30P00 A36-000 N62. The yellow sticker AFM is the Q45 (90mm) and serial 22680 6IU00 A36-000 P60. Dave

do you have to flash your bios to install windows CE. Got the download somewhere but I heard that so have left it alone for the time being. I also think its a bit dodge when u call up and ask for an executor 2.2 chip and they give u a price, but then u find out the just do the tsop flash thing

same over east. Big problem is that installers are saying they install an alladin or an executor when they dont, and offering too good to be true prices... so the genuine guys dont get any business.
