    You can write a letter within 28 days and try and get out of it. I have had about 10 parking fines, and got out of 9, and the 1 i didnt get out of was the only 1 i didnt deserve. Make up some shit about your car stalling etc, and you were only there for 15 seconds while you stuffed around with your immobilsor and re started. You might be lucky

    not entirely true. I have had 3 p plate fines now - every time had p plates up. only times i have ever been pulled over too. Rarely have them up and when I do I managed to get pulled over 3 times. hmm

    Thanks for all the info... im still interested in the good cities to go (in your opinions) and any starters on where to look up some accomodation. Im told there is some good auto stuff going on in jan - so would be mad if i could save enough in time to get there for that!

Also, where would someone who had no contacts in or knowledge of japan, stay and start looking for a job. And last, how much would you expect to have to spend each day. thanks dave

    Not sure how it works but I know it makes boost come on better. There are many threads about this on the forums. Also price wise, you can get a greddy profec B for 450 new and it has duel solenoid... you just dont get the riced up screen, but the HKS EVC 4 has that .. and alot more classy than apexi.

    avcr is easy to install and tune your self - but its crap.. only single soleniod. Get a HKS or Greddy. SAFC is easy enough to install, but not tune yourself.

    the skirts and rear pods are just normal mspec bits. The rear bar is std too. Looks like you also have an aftermarket zorst there too.

    i replied with the dimensions in that thread but the thread is gone now. Im away so cant measure either. I think it measured to be exactly the size of 1 din if you were to take off the white tabs on either side. cheers, dave

    i use Border Express in melbourne. They cost $80-$100 for a set of wheels w/ tires from Melb to Syd and I got charged $120 for the wheels w/ tires from Melb to Brisbane. Im assuming there is no insurance - i never asked - but I have used this mob about 3 or 4 times now without a problem. dave

    on a gtst thats where the aircon is - on the gtr is where the standard guages are. The best way to fit to a gtst is to get a gtr aircon, or move your gtst aircon to the glovebox.

    well - a very nice set of cars there! it reminds me when me and a mate both had proton satria GTI's (both silver of course).. it was like our own mini car club... im sure you will have lots of fun... just dont do what we did and stupidly crash into each other!

    Nismo white faced centre guages: - used for 1 year and in excellent condition - suit gtr, but can be adapted to get in a gtst - $320 happy to send interstate via express, registered, cod etc and buyers cost. Cheers, Dave [email protected]
