  1. the reason optimax, ultimate gets good milage on most cars is that it has cleaning agents in it too, so it keeps your injectors etc cleaner, which = better fuel economy.
  2. 1 point if you nominate yourself, 0 if you pay the corp fine.

my 33 hits 8000rpm (rev limit set at 8500 for some reason) but i dont think i will go that far.. in my pissy 205 tires i only need to dial up 4k.. now getting a v8 up to 8k and dropping , that could be fun.. thats about 3000rpm over the red line

oh also, when you do this at the drags, how much tire tread does it take off... cos i reckon i took about half the tread off these brand new (3000km) tires in 4 or 5 burnouts. Thanks - just wanting to know so when i get back to melb i can push the liner into a high 13 for my first ever official drag.

Thanks leewah... that was actually the way I was leaning, but it still let the back give a solid kick.. and in this wallowy SS commondore it feels bad. Anyway, good to know my self taught way seems to be the correct way...
  7. so how much r they?
  8. I have one in gunmetal - located out sydney. asking $450. A few light parking scratches. cheers, dave
  9. nothing wrong with just using 2 dolla car hoes for sex tho
  10. they sometimes show up at auctions, and there are a few specialist dealers in japan that sell them.... but i beleive original clean examples go for something like 2million yen!
  11. my mum used to be a very succesful real estate agent and first had a sube WRX, then her mazda 323 astina.. I dont think the car really matters, as anyone with money knows that a car doenst mean shit (poor people can lease bmw's too!). Also, she sold and listed more than any of the bmw, merc driving blokes in her office so i dont think it really matters. Think - if you went to buy a house and the person had a hotted up VS commodore - u may think 'bogan' - but it wouldnt stop you buying the house if they were well presented, well mannered and knew what they were talking about.. and the house was good!
  12. got phone numbers??? why dont i ever meet any 'materialistic 2 dolla sukky sukky hoesssss' its not fair maybe i do and im just too ****ing ugly and even my car wont help. :s
  13. supra - all premium fuels are rated at 96. Mobil synergy, bp ultimate and shell optimax are 98. I have too heard that shell buys bp ultimate, then adds its own chemicals, but my ex - gf's uncles both work at bp and they both said thats not true... the main thing you should be concerned about is making sure your car runs on 98... after all, it was actually designed to run on 100ron..

ok, this is probably a really stupid question, but i was wondering the best way to rip a fat burnout in a manual. Auto V8's are easy... doesnt take a brain surgeon to work that one out... but i want to be able to rip a fat burnout in a manual, without shifting off the original line.. any suggestions. i have found a few different ways, but none are perfect and most the tail likes to step sideways a bit when im doing it... dave
  15. 1) family 2) mates 3) girlfriend or 1) family - including wife 2) mates thats how it should b.
  16. whats your number :)
  17. I know some of the newer ford rims had the same stud pattern (114x3) and similar offset... however, you may have trouble clearing brakes on tiny rims? I know Rav4 steel rims fit nicely.
  18. in melbourne BP is i think always 8c more expensive... so on a 65 litre tank, your looking at an extra $5.... so if you do 400km a week, then your going to spending an extra $300 maybe a year by using ultimate... if you cant afford that, you cant afford a skyline.
  19. i used to b able to get these, if u dont have any luck send me a msg and ill see if i can help (never seen r33 before, just r32, so cant gaurentee anything)
  20. thanks i really should have got more , especially having a pit pass, but I was on the turps a bit too much.. oh well, theres always next year!
  21. would be: +61 + 7 + 5537 5099
  22. sounds like some of you are wearing the skirts. last 2 girl friends both lasted about 12 months each, and only the last 1 i let her drive my car once, so she go out and buy me a shirt.
  23. Funny how you tell people im full of shit that I can get these at around 650-700 - but you bought these on YJ at $390 (30,000 yen)... now even if i used an auction service like hikari ... at 20%, that would be $468, then add shipping in japan $10, ems $60 and tax which i very much doubt you pay.. at 25% and your still in at $672. So take away that 20% hikari fee... and your at $575.. a very healthy profit for someone selling stuff privately.
  24. thats not actually true... generally a short shifter is a shorter stick... but its not just like cutting a few inches off your factory shifter. The way it works is it actually makes the throw of the gear 30% shorter (in the case of a C's short shifter). The only reason they are bad for your box is becuase your shifting alot quicker and harder, its easier to crunch gears, but if your box is good and you can change with out crunching, then all is good. skyline boxes are actually pretty good, but the short shifters make them even nicer. If you want to know what a long throw feels like on a quickish car, try driving a manual SS commondore... can have a cup of coffe in between gear changes
  25. im a bit of a local to mornington peninsula, so know a fair few roads out there. I have a good rally track that I used to take my dads WRX out on, til I spun it 540 degrees and shat my self, never to try again. other than that, I like coming from out the back of balnaring, through flinders down to macrae, then up arthurs seat. Lots of corners and straights, but more cops out in force in the last few years, so have to watch your speed... a bit.. or you'll end up like me and get 11 points in go
