The lexus GS300 is a very nice car... a very nice transmission on those cars. You will also find the IS300 and a 2jz in it to. A supra engine in an IS300 would turn me of skylines forever the Gs300's are 166kw@ 6000rpm and 298nm @ 4000rpm and about 1680kg. IS300 are 157kW @ 5800rpm and 288Nm @ 3800rpm but are about 150kg lighter

After speaking to BD4's, the FCON S is the newer version of the V. Not quite sure on differences, but apparently the tuning software for the S is in english so alot easier. The FCON V Pro is a full computer (still piggy back as std ecu control aircon).

read the legistlation first. There is something about your plate being visible from X meters in front of your car at X degrees.

BATMBL does good value front/dumps. i think they zorst may be sold, but not 100% till the money is in my hands.

Karl, i made the choice once.. was driving from byron down to melb.. and was overtaking a truck and a cop coming the otherway did a u turn and pulled into the truck behind that... so im now 2 trucks ahead... i overtook one more truck and then planted it... he never even made it around the 2nd truck as we got to twisites after that.. i think he decided to go back to where he was heading. i have always wanted to properly outrun cops.. but knowing me i would get caugt. I was thinking u could hook up a switch that turns off all your tail lights (and importantly number plate light) , so when u get far enough in the distance, quickly pull off into bushes and they wouldnt have a clue where u r.

Can't help you with melbourne tuners.. i guess ICE would do it. I think you should expect around $400 for a full tune with a bit of dyno time. I wouldnt be driving around with it - as it would be specifically tuned for the car it came off and could cause problems.

james... all you do is whinge about your loss of license.. dont think you can comment. and in not all cases does 100 in a 60 zone take much loss of concentration. I was doing 108 in a 60 zone.. i over took a car doing 40 and pulled back in and was doing that speed. Was actually an 80 zone, but we r waiting to go to court on that one still.. anyway - its true if u do the crime u do the time.... no harm in whingiing tho

HKS EIDS - about $270 from justjap. Never used one or seen one in use, but they are designed to fix idle problems, especially the one caused by atmo bov. I would think most tuners could install one. I think I can get them 2nd hand yakuza, so if you do decide to go that way, send me a pm and i may be able to help out. cheers, dave

yeh, i first rego'd my car in qld... at least be happy that u have 1/2 the stamp duty compared to vic and nsw. I ended up paying $305 for 12 months!
