    why you sign out of msn? anyway, i was turning right from far lane, next to me was bmw fully badged convertible... and he gave it a rev, so we both burned off, i hung it fully sideways, he got a lil sideways, then we were both gunning it.. i just kept in front but had wheelspin most of the time

  14. i find it just feels ALOT bigger than the 32... and of course the S15... however, jump in a Toyota Soarer and start trying to drift that, then you really feel like your in a whale. the 33 is still a great handling car... it just feels alot bigger in the rear than the others. As a note, it is actually a longer car than my hilux surf... and its a 2 door coupe, compared to a 4 door 4wd!.
  15. it unlocks the shifter... so u can change out of Park without your foot on the brake.

  17. i had an ebc in there, but when it hit 12psi at 3000rpm i couldnt keep traction...
  18. my ecu seems to do it.. so when i unplug the factory boost solenoid it just sits at 8psi... all the pipes look tight.. and nothing in the eng bay has been changed... and car was running perfect on thursday night (apart from the lack of fuel)...... then friday its gone dodgy...
  19. i got no space and no tools here.. doesnt help me much... may take it to work on monday and tell them to fix it .. but i'd rather NOT pay.
  20. lowlux - if it fits yours you can have it for $100 crimmo - i dont have an r30 to test it on.. if i did then i would so i know... i can give measurments etc - so if anyone wants to measure strut to strut on an r30 and confirm that the mounting holes look kind of right..
  21. checked piping and seems all fine... my bov is on with a circlip and dont have any circlip pliers here so cant pull it apart.. what i can do is make my car just run a straight 8 psi.. will try that and see how it goes.. got no where to test at the moment.. traffic is farken shocking here.
  22. ross, that was a thought.. but revving engine with no load, and having hand over BOV and looking, it doesnt seem to be... hmm, i might block boost solenoid, cos when i do that it sits at a constant 8psi.. see what it feels like then.
  23. well i had to sign up so i could have my say... give a toss wether they are biased or not.. comments like: *skylines are common (comming from a commondore forum?!?) *jap cars all have neons and are rice *turbos shit themselves at 100,000km *skylines crack heads *180sx's are all 1.8l etc etc... if you wanna have an argument... at least research it first.. thing i loved the most is how farken good they all think the new monaro 427 is... but for the same price you could take your pics of a GT3 porches, a nice ferrari, jaguar, m3, m5, amg's etc etc.. and they would shit all over it.
  24. i posted this in general, but u guys r way more helpful.. Havent been driving lately, but yesterday, i took her out and something weird was happening.... now, my boost normally hits 8 psi up till 4500 rpm then steps up to 11psi. yesterday, it wasnt stepping up at all in any gear, and sometimes it would only hit 7psi, then sometimes 9psi etc. first gear felt alright apart from the lack of boost, but all other gears felt really really flat.. like a big dead spot. i also noticed my BOV isnt fluttering anymore and sound has changed a bit ... all hoses / pipes seem to be on OK... anyone can help?? cheers, dave.. thanks.. im desperate.. really need my car tomoz!
  25. ok, i have driven 32 gtst, 33 gtst (both lightly modded), the first 4 door WRX STi to come to aus, a bug eye STi and the latest STi, as well as a manual spec R and a auto Spec S. Now, firstly the first 4door STi was totally mad, but I had only just got my license and hadnt driven that many turbos hard before it... it handled like nothing before and went and felt very fast. The bug STi handled well and compared to some of the GTST's I went against (see pic below). Again, it handled really well but it didnt feel quick at all... it sounded like a dud (but 10x better than stock wrx). The latest STi has really got back to the roots... it handles like a dream, is farken quick and feels quick too. Have also driven std bugeye and old wrx... the old one was heaps better.. the bugeye just feels way to refined. the s15's were both stock std aus spec and felt pretty slow, and sounded like shit... although they were hella fun for drifting around every corner i came accross. the skylines are in a class of their own, as both had zorst and pod filters.... they felt quicker, sounded quicker.... and nothing i think beats the turbo 6. But especially the 33, it is a farken whale of a thing compared too the s15's... (also, s15 has the best interior out of skyline and silvia) also, Cray Zee Boy, mini cooper s... are pretty slow, but are fun to drive... feels like you are in a really mini when u burn it through the hills.. very sharp handling, a bit scary at times.
