Well, Havent been driving lately, but yesterday, i took her out and something weird was happening.... now, my boost normally hits 8 psi up till 4500 rpm then steps up to 11psi. yesterday, it wasnt stepping up at all in any gear, and sometimes it would only hit 7psi, then sometimes 9psi etc. first gear felt alright apart from the lack of boost, but all other gears felt really really flat.. like a big dead spot. i also noticed my BOV isnt fluttering anymore and sound has changed a bit ... all hoses / pipes seem to be on OK... anyone can help?? cheers, dave.. thanks.. im desperate.. really need my car tomoz!

i reckon my soarer is almost as quick as my 33... only problem is trying to keep traction - i have no TRC switch either. In any condition if i floor it from the lights i totally lose it! only mods are full twin trust zorst and big intake.

LowBluQ - rules state that your not meant to talk about prices if your not interested - but I suggest you do a search of these forums and have a good look at what these are worth... also, aybee's r32 would prolly whip your pulsar ... big hks turbos have a way doing that.

my manual was 1430kg with it being pretty empty.. just a half tank of fuel and space saver. chuck in a bag of cement in the boot - that will help.

my car doesnt have a speed limter due to aftermarket ecu... however, if you were to cut the wire the insurance company couldnt not pay out... as it is still road worthy. Prove me wrong and post any ADR's / legislation etc that says a car has to be limited to 180km. another note is... i wouldnt just cut wire 53. There is a reason why greddy, hks, tomei make speed limit removers... that wire into both wire 53, 59, ground and +..

Nizmo - how did you find out that it was wound back. i had my timing belt changed when I first imported mine just to be on the safe side. Apparently the old one was in fine condition anyway, but its better to be safe than sorry.

nisman - say what you want, but im not trying to sell you my car.. im just stating my opinion. it could be that I have never seen anybody treat their car like shit... and im sure it does happen here. my 33 was in perfect condition when I imported it... apart from one leaking rear strut... not a big issue, but then, I just wouldnt expect to find that on a 20k car that was being sold here. Also engine bay had 10 years of shit covering it... same with soarer too.. seems like theres a lot of little things they dont do!!!

how much cash they spend on it doesnt mean much. I know some people who have recently got some skylines from prestige... one blew head gasket and head was ****ed within a week, the otherones bottom end is ****ed. both these cars have had 15K + spent on mods (BIG HKS turbos) and all the works.. now the chance of the previous owners not realising that these cars had problems must be a pretty big coincidence.. the fact that they r both stuffed with 500km of being sold.

each to their own opinion I guess - but to give you an example - all of the cars we have ever sold (our family) wether they were 2 years old or 10years old, always had complete service history (original books), receipts etc. soo many cars that come out of Japan dont have any history at all. other thing I have noticed is that they seem to get rid of their cars when they have problems , wether it be small or large.. for example my soarer drivers seat didnt work... managed to fix it myself.. but I have never come accross a car in Aus worth 15k+ with things not working.. if I did i would be fairly suspicous of how well its been looked after.

yeh, and that would make a stock 33 about 130kw at rears using those figures... i think they are around 140ish..
