hmm... not much response.. i think it would show who of us are honest even if we just posted our nicks and people could reply saying they had sold or bought and had good dealings. At least then if u have seen someone who has had 20 good dealings with other members, your pretty sure they r going to be good to u too.

dont listen to what they say soarers r cool.. hehe.. but yes,, its something like 1 in every 500 are manaul.. so keep looking. here is mine - its got full trust zorst, kit and mags and it goes well. its auto but still fun. It smokes the tires up if your not careful. if i put my foot flat off the lights, i get about 25m of burnout lines.. so have to be careful

I am almost sure that you cant just pull a fuse on the 33 and 34. I was at a dyno with knowledable people, and to get a 33 gtr into rwd, they had to hoist it up and remove the front drive shaft.

could be wrong, but doesnt it mean your headlights sit back an inch.. or forward.. i cant remember..

not much I can do about it.. I lost 4 points for those 2 p plate fines, then when I moved back to vic, i got done overtaking and lost 11 points... in the end i was hit with over 18months suspension (i was speeding, but officers lied about speed, they also lied and said i had overtaken on double lines & they also lied saying that my p plates were not visible.. which they clearly were) so now im waiting to go to court, but fat chance if that is going to help.. its their word against mine... although i have one thing on my side... i was booked doing 115 in a 60zone.. when it wasnt even a 60zone... lets see how they explain that one.

Airzone - I fully agree about trying to drive as many cars as possible. I drove just over 100 different cars when I was on my L's as my old man gets a different car each week... it makes such a diff.. before I had my P plates I had driven everything from some of the most powerful rear/front and awd's to the least powerful. Thinking about that - i think that tests should somehow involve extra training in both fwd & rwd cars...

SR is a 4cyl from silvia and in a few others too, RB engines are in skylines, vl turbo common hore, cefiro etc... the numbers refer to the capacity... then the letters after that mean stuff too so SR20DET = 4cyl, 2.0l, D= dual overhead cams, E = fuel injected (i think) and T = turbo.. so RB25DE = 6 cyl 2.5l non turbo DOHC

The BEST I ever got was 450.. that was driving at ~ 120km per hour for the whole tank (from brisbane to melbourne)... the WORST I ever got was 140km... that was some very hard driving After changing my fuel filter, I am now getting about 400 a tank, which is fanging it for the 1st half, then realising i have no money, so taking it easy on the 2nd half.. Btw, my car runs 8psi to 4500rpm and 10psi over that.. has pod, ecu and zorst (173rwkw). It also has a higher ratio diff, which I would think would be the main factor in my shit fuel economy (100km/h in 5th is 3100rpm.. compared to std of 2700 rpm) edit: thats using BP Ultimate (always) and I usually fill about 55-60l.

ps - now u know why my car is for sale.. each time I got done for this 15 minutes were wasted asking if my car was stolen and how a 20year old could afford it!!

my girlfriend did the AAMI course... she doesnt tailgate anymore I think the fact that its free to all policy holders and their family members is a great idea... im sure it would have saved them some claims already. It just re enforces what you have already been taught, but u get to actually get out there and see the differences in braking etc. re p plates -cops can **** them selves over this... i never ever ever ever ever wear my p plates in NSW anymore. I got pulled over and given a $74 fine and 2 demerit points, then on the same road 30 mins later got done again... and yes, I had P plates up!! I have now changed back to my victorian license... and the day I did that.. guess what, yes I got another P plate fine... and yes they were up (the officer told me they were too low "WTF"?? anyway - dont wear p plates.. they r going to **** u wether u have them up or not... so u may as well not bring attention to yourself .

well personally, i dont find my 33 very quick anymore, but have driven so many quick cars that nothing std really feels quick to me (havent driven any italian super cars tho!) my car is lightly modded, and to give u an example of the power, it was raining last time i drove it (almost 4 weeks ago now!!!!) and I over took a car in 4th gear.. i looked down at my speedo and was reading over 180.... that was just wheel spin.. when I took my foot off the gas it pulled back down to 100... so, if a car can spin its wheels that much, then i reckon its got enough power
