    Thanks Craig, That is what I had just guessed. Looks like you have confirmed it for me. After 12/94 I think they went to using the ignition in the coil packs themselves.

    being the fact that your car is a non turbo is going to make it damn loud - i know of a r32 gts that had 2.5 cat back and could hear it from a mile away. no idea on how to make it quiet tho :S

    i heard a company i think its called famous and classic car insurance and giving better quotes than just cars by a mile. Maybe give them a call and see

    Can anyone tell me if the coil packs from rb20 , rb25 and rb26's are the same? If not, will say coils from an rb26 fit in an rb25? Cheers, Dave

    soarer done now - but i forgot to ask him if he needed the parcel shelf off or not .

    my soarer is being tinted right now - he needed to take of door trims and window surrounds so he could get right down the glass. Also will need to take off rear parcel shelf because the rear brake light is in the way. I think on the 33, you shouldnt have a problem with parcel shelf, but would bet you will need to take of door skins.

    stock vs stock, they have more power than a gtst by about 25kw. Both around 1400 kg too. So I would assume the 350z would work. Also, with our skylines, i think they are way more tempremental, so u would find with even a few mods a 350 might hand your ass to you on a plate.

    Jet - its just a std turbo, so no idea of what HP it will take.. but im told the S1 will safely boost at 14psi. ps. i *think* its sold, but cant say till the $$ are in my hand.

    nismo_boy - i have seen cam covers for rb26's - all new, but not cheap.. were around $800. Will keep my eyes open for 2nd hand

    akeenan - depends on insurance. aybee - sucks about the gauges.. i would be more worried about them cutting laps tho. Lucky the car wasn''t running lean etc, and on old stale fuel too.

    Wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or manaul for a greddy profec boost controller. would help me install one I got without any wiring diagram. cheers, dave
