hate to ruin all your fun but if u look under user options, u can have 5, 10, 20, 30 or 40 posts per page... so for ppl like me who have 40 posts per page... your "page to me" means bullshit.. just thought i would let you know

I had one of those on my Surf. Didnt help when I forgot to check the radiator for water and cracked my head. I have also heard of ppl having problems with claims.. just like with insurance companies, they are going to pay out as little as possible, and only when they really have to.

haha, feel retarded now.. i didnt refresh before I posted :S

THere you go - u can get them from takakaira.com ECV N-Type A Skyline 93.8~98.4 ECR33 67mm ¥14800 US$126. So about 200 + postage. here is the description: "APEXi produces state of the art, high performance exhausts which are known for quality, and deep aggresive exhaust tone. The new APEXi Exhaust Control Valve (ECV) controls the amount of exhaust flow from the exhaust muffler (especially the APEXi N1 exhaust muffler), and thus varies the loudness of the exhaust volume. The ECV is installed after the catalytic converter in a vehicle's exhaust system. It can easily reduces the exhaust loudness level by a maximum of 10dB by varying the butterfly valve in the ECV. With the ECV, one can now maximizes a high performance car potential with APEXi's range of high performance exhaust system; be it driving in urban areas, at night, or in areas with strict sound emission laws, just by varying the butterfly valve opening in the ECV. All these adjustments can be done in the ****pit via fly by wire controls of the ECV.The butterfly valve can be controlled in real time while driving either with the valve in fully opened, fully closed, or partially opened position. Before the invention of APEXi ECV, exhaust sound levels are control by using different inner silencers in an exhaust muffler. These inner silencers require vehicle down time to install, dismantle, and re-install to achieve similar performance levels of the ECV. Such changes also requires the exhaust to cool down in order not to burn the hands of the installer. The ECV replaces the connecting flange on the piping (after the catalytic converter) that connects to the catalytic converter. The wire that controls the butterfly valve on the ECV will run via the heat sensor cabling (as in NISSAN vehicles) and through an opening from the vehicle's under carriage to the interior of the vehicle where it will terminates at the valve control lever switch in the ****pit where it is within reach of the driver. Minor drilling & modification on exhaust piping after the catalytic converter might be required on other vehicle makes (e.g. TOYOTA vehicles)."

you mean one of these? i can get them but think its something like $250. dave

no problems registering. You could register a ferarri enzo at vicroads without a problem, just driving home may be!

if i ever get around to making mine, i plan on using the factory air feed into a fully closed box. Thats the only way I can think of without cutting into metal..

184kw... the rule is 115kw per tonne.. my gtst is 1420kg which is 130kw per tonne. Im on my P's btw, and over summer I was caught speeding while overtaking a car. I also got done for not having p plates (which I did) and crossing double lines which i didnt do... so these guys were pretty big ****wits, and they didnt say anything about power to weight.
-
while it is true that they are over the power to weight ratio, i do not know of anyone who has had a problem with police / insurance in any case. I am also sure companies like Just Cars who insure all the P platers are fully aware of the rules, yet they still seem to pay out The problem is, there are no official power figures recorded for the car in Australia. If it came down to it, the 184kw nissan claims could be proven wrong, as that would have been using their 100ron fuel. just my 2 cents dave
-
follow the battery wires... use a multimeter.. a battery should read 13.5 volts i think ... so just keep going till the power drops.. that should give u a rough idea of where your problem is.

very very tue.. nsw: $367 per year qld: up to $2000 also consider that qld rego is about 600 + ctp per year and nsw is about 500 + ctp per year. so dont feel TOO ripped off. -
Dr Drift from melbourne has been chipping r32 ecu's. I think its just an addon chip that goes inside. I know he does it for a good price, but cos hes in melb, dont know what can be done. It might be worth sending him a PM just for some info on what he uses and how its done. My r33 ecu has been chipped to remove the speed limiter, so it can be done. I also have an unused tomei limitter over system (speed limit removal) for sale which will do the same thing.

blah.. looks like boxhead is out.... bit quiet here
-
wtf - u dont even have your learners yet.. jeeeez and i skipped a few pages... was the deal to swap your g/f still open motox.. mine is coming up on wednesday if u wanna swap till i go back to melb?

take the covers off jimbo.. way easier. I took them off and back on without a problem. I spose if you were really paranoid you would cover the engine bay with a clean sheet or something to stop anything getting in there. dave

time/date & place set http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=14217 drop a line in that thread if your coming. looks like a lot of the regulars wont come, so we need some newbies

hey mods, on a tech forum I used to trade cd's on, we had a feedback forum where if you were a buyer/seller/trader you would put a thread with the subject as your nick name, then in it put your real name and contact details. After anyone has bought or sold to you and they are happy // not happy they post comments. I think it would be good, cos then ppl would know who they can trust with Direct deposits etc... cheers, Dave
