yeh i agree, we need to post in the EVENTS forum instead of the main forum for 1, and where is this events page.. sounds good.
tell u the truth i was just thinking it needed a tidy up.
i just got mine done at the local.. it was cracking where the pipe met the muffler at the back. they chucked it up on a hoist and were done in 5mins for free... twice..
quality not great, but i figure its going to keep happening so not going to waste big bucks on making it perfect every time.
guys - as he said hes in america - where the market is different, so you cant comment on value. Also, he asked specific questions, not asking for opinions,...
If you can find a single wheel by itself it should cost you sfa. your probably best buying a new set (300ish) and have some spares for next time u hit a gutter.
Should only cost $5 from them to put the old tire on the new rim.
Hes best just taking it to an exhaust shop.
I have the same problem with my zorst. Twice now i have had it welded at the back of the muffler (keeps cracking when i hit it). Its cracked again and makes a shit sound on idle, so looks like another trip down to get it welded !
its easy if you have small fingers to change the parkers. The bulbs you can get from 50cents to $10 depending on what you want. Same bulbs as used in boot, on rear number plate, behind dash etc. Any place should know if u say 'parker' bulbs
autobarn usually tends to have a decent range of headlights. One of my low beams blew the other day. Replaced for about $5 with a std narva bulb.
PigB8 - you will find that at around 80k + the std clutches would be getting pretty tired.
When I imported my car I changed the timing belt and gave it a full service (around $200 for timing belt - 100 in labour and 100 for the belt). I also changed the clutch to a daiken exedy organic hd ($550 + labour). If the car is std, you could just use a std daikin organic ($350).
For a standard service you are looking at about $100 in parts + labour, although its pretty easy to do yourself.

yeh, I have that in my black widow on my surf. To tell you the truth, I am way happier with the autobahn on the skyline. It only has single stage, but easy to adjust the sensitivity.
btw chopobo , i am all out of them
$450. I dont think you can get them anywhere else that im aware of. I will find out tommorow if any are left... or you can hassle to have boxhead's (i have it on hold for him)
there is a good offer in the for sale area for dump + front and high flow cat. (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=12181) That would be $450 posted. You could then pick up a 2nd hand or new cat back system (brand name) which are generally high quality and good design for another $500-$1000. This would make a very nice system with a nice sound.
I bought my Surf from a dealer. I found while it looked good on the showroom floor, its only because they give it a quick detail and silicon spray in the engine bay. You will find most private sale cars a far better looked after (well maintained with good oils etc) than some of the dealer cars that have been sitting around with crappy oil etc in them.
I need the thing from drivers side door trim that electric window buttons are in. Only the plastic cover as mine has a huge scratch. Also looking for indicator from front bar but I guess thats gone
looks like i got to chapel at the right time. I had a 21st on at sanctuary on toorak road and had no traffic getting there and when I left didnt get a single light / car the whole way home. Also got a rockstar right out the front of the club... dont u just love that.
