my r33 gtst is 850 per year with suncorp. It in my dads name as a rating 1, and when i spoke to them last, under all new policies, they will now no longer insure unlisted under 25s... again, thanks to boxhead only killer with suncorp is excess. I think mines something like 2800 if I crash, compared to my 4wd of $300.

I have seen some really good prices for semi slicks on sites like ebay. If you ask Buster from these forums he should know where too look. To give you an example, saw a good set of semi slicks (bridgestone RE540s) with 85% tread for about $600 for the set. anyway, hope that might help :S

ask majanal . he knows someone with a deal with DBA brake rotors. I have paid $70 for one rotor for a r32 from a wrecker. Without naming the DBA prices... its less than double that for a brand new cross drilled rotor

shouldnt a r34 gtt get higher than 150kw stock. I thought a r33 gtst was about 145kw @ rear wheels stock, and the rb25 neo has about 20 + kw on the 33 rb25. When I went i got 173.5 kw @ 10 psi just with re mapped ecu, cat back zorst, pod & diff

gtr will cost more in insurance and maintenence i would think. Either a 34 gtt or a 32 gtr. Could have either with some mods for under 40k.

Its always good to chop a bike. Had a dude want to go me on a harley on the way to the first dyno day. He beat me, just, but i kept up the whole way. He was suprised. Also been absolutely killed by some of the quick jap bikes, but its worth it just to see them burn off. by the way, well said Hobzai

Cant commnet on wether the car is dodgy or not as I havent seen it, but i know someone else this happened to. Wheel came off at 80km/h and car came to a nice slow stop on the brake rotor. In the end it only cost about $80 for new rotor and studs. Most important thing is before you go for a drive, always double check. As Skyline chick said, its now your car and your responsbility to look after. good luck
