  1. I still have a few autobahn 2way's for sale. I havent done too much testing on range, but can say its pretty good. If I park my car in the basement of my friends apartment building in the city.. I open/close/start/monitor the car from the 16th floor. Thats not a huge distance, but if you think about all the concrete between the basement and 16th floor its not bad. If anyones interested, im going to be around melb til the 28th. dave http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=&threadid=5487
  2. i can drive cruise.. but not too hard... just a nice burn.
  3. I have no idea of good cruise routes.. I was hoping someone else would organise that bit
  4. Well, after the other cruise, I am pumped for another, but going back up to qld for a few weeks on australia day w/e so will miss the next cruise. Just wondering if anyone wanted to have a mid arvo sunday cruise/burn then have a bite to eat afterwards (maybe BBNT's) anyway, show your interest.. dave

  7. 2fardown - i agree, but a) if you have a clean tank and B) your filters are doing their job... then really its not a big issue... still i wouldnt reccomend it. Better to be safe than sorry.
  8. MRE - i would... but I enjoy "testing" other peoples cars and mine will still be in melb. driving up in the g/f's jeep... and i reckon that wont really keep up
  9. Hey all... well I have decided to come up for some sun at the start of Feb, and would love to have a mad mt cruise on the 8/9th of FEB. Will have a new rex to test out..... so let me know if your interested.
  10. dont know.... cos im in melb... how does Feb 8/9 sound? Will be up then and have a new WRX for the week to test
  11. im in melb at the moment.. were you on the cruise the other night.. i went, but didnt see your car.. or any with big wings
  12. dark, the site I had with all the prices and specs is on my other comp at home (only 2000km away) so I cant remember... but I think maybe around 2.3mil yen, depending on options. Dont quote me on that tho!
  13. GTS-t VSPEC. The model you are talking about with the vspec diff was released as a production model, just in very limited numbers. I did have the specs for it somewhere and it was a fair bit more expensive than the normal gtst too when new. Never ever heard/seen of a factory awd gtst tho.
  14. I did it recently but cant remeber how I did it. All I can remember was the horn had 2 connectors on it, but boss kit only had 1 wire. So I just plugged it in, and once its earthed, using the horn ring that should come with boss kit, it should work.
  15. that red ford was an au xr8 i beleive. It did went up arthurs seat really well... quicker than a lot of the lines
  16. thanks for organising it mate was fun... just gotta try and meet some ppl next time. I was wondering when we went through mornington why no one was hanging out on the street watching... cos we were there about 20 mins before everyone else.. we certainly put on a show in frankston. I know when we did a u turn at the lights that all of the cars that made it through really hung it out... to the delight of on lookers
  17. the black gtr was pretty nice went really well up arthurs seat. did u go all the way up arthurs seat skyline33? We were sitting on the really tight hair pin watching the cars go up (and **** up on that corner) but didnt notice you going past.

    my 18th bday

Roberto` - keep a check on the Events sections for upcoming cruises. People are generally more than happy to give someone a lift... but the nicer cars are usually already full... I cant see you having a problem getting a ride in one on the next cruise...
  23. Thought I would start a new thread to post your pics and discuss last nights cruise, as the one in events is getting pretty long now. Had a good time and it was nice to see some sweet cars. Liked the WRC style wrx but I think it was more show than go, also the mines GTR was sweet. Had a fun time cruising down with a few 33's around... Unfortunately didnt really get to meet anyone as there were way to many people to even guess at who was who. As mentioned in the other thread, it was interesting coming back down and watching that really tight hair pin up arthurs seat. As mentioned, leewah hammered the corner and put on a real show for us. A lot of people seemed to come into to fast and then got stuck looking for a gear. Counted 4 times when a honda came through and almost caused a pile up... very very close on one occasion. I forgot to take my camera but took a photo of my car in the arvo b4 i left. So if you see a black 33 with 32 wheels, come and say hi
  24. yeh, i dont think arthurs seat run is very good tho. I have had a house down here all my life and know some way better roads. A good route would be to cut through the back of mt martha through to balnaring , shoreham, flinders, red hill then up to arthurs seat. Lots of 100km zone almost 100% cop free roads where you can really let it rip. edit: made a thread so we dont need to go through pages and pages of garbage here first to post pics and discuss... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...=&threadid=8502
  25. GTST, give me your email, and i will contact you next week sometime if this falls through. Dave
