  1. i got mine at autobarn. They were only $20 and are pretty good. Also, depending where you are, there should be plenty of performance parts shops, they will all stock them too.
  2. sounds like what mine was going. Was missing due to plugs being gapped at 1.1. Took them out and gapped to .8 and havent had a problem since. Could aslo be a problem with coil packs, but best to check the plugs 1st.
  3. how about wheels like these prank. Multi stud 17's.
  4. under 3k for engine and loom on the coast. There was a s2 half cut going for around 4k i think. Cant remember exactly. Call RMA, i think they had it.
  5. saw that, would look funny with my s1 seats tho :S
  6. im driving down to melb with my line in 2 weeks. Selling it with new vic rego but asking 20,500.
  7. what you asking for them?
  8. oops, forgot to say, u may be better of buy engine with loom... then buying an auto box off here. They go for as low as $150 on the forum...
  9. if you can find one cheap enough... i beleive postage for an engine is about $400 from melb/adelaide. also, why an auto front cut?
  10. sorry prank.. but they suck.. they look like their from the 80's... but then again, so do 180's with their popup lights
  11. yes
  12. was in a subaru b4.. true rally style. If I had the r33, i would have probably hit it at over 260km/h! Also, im sure my car would fall into peices if I try... which is what im going to be doing tomorrow
  13. yes, your always welcome to use my implements karl. The guy in the white 33 was sky|ine (ross). Doesnt come on the forums tho I dont think, only IRC. sounds like you had some fun driving home too then. also, msn me, i have worked out what boost im getting now. 10psi over 5k
  14. Hmm, i ended the day with 2 nice stone chips, one from MRe and one from Nizman i beleive... also, the tip tronic is a bit farked now.... dont think it can quite handle the beating i gave it. other than that.. good cruise, would have been good if everyone was going a bit harder (like mad mt 2) but hey. Also, the straight me and nizman found would have to be the best bit of road ever... hmm,, may go for a quick cruise there now
  15. sorry about that. i think you were following me and Nizman. Before the intersection, was there a really long straight? we were waiting for about 5 mins, when we got a call on the uhf saying the rest were already at coles. sorry bout that! i am planning on getting a proper map for nextime. keep an eye out for one of the area if u see one. also, UHf radio is a good idea. $99 for a uniden from dick smiths.
  16. no, i was so up for the qld dyno day but it got cancelled. maybe one of u guys can point me at a good place to go when i get to melbourne if I havent done it by then. I was thinking if i could track down the manufacturer, the sticker on the model/serial on inside sticker may show what they did.. if not the serial number may. Just trying to work out a few things on the car, and knowing what this is will help.
  17. inside.
  18. well it looks like my r33 ecu has been remapped. Attached is 2 pictures. There is a sticker on the outside with "power source selection" and one on inside "MT-3". Also, some black texta which looks like KT. any one have info on this? dave
  19. the lexus is200 has some nice colours.. the burgundy, blue and yellow.. Shouldnt cost too much either. I wouldnt go a bright colour... attract even more attention than the car already does. Also, probably easier, cheaper to stay with a colour that comes from the factory.
  20. depending on the light that colour can look a bit green too. Like the silver, it only came in two tone... So if you see an all blue car, its had some repainting done.

    VIC rego Q

ok, vic rego can be from 400-480 depending on where you live. Country areas will have lower rego costs. Vic rego includes CTP so you dont need to worry with that. As others said, all you need is a roadworthy, then head to your local vic roads office and they will take your old plates and give you new. in regards to suburbs, I found living in south melbourne really good. 1.8km to the city so I could walk to work in the morning, right near city link, close to good food in st kilda, south yarra... but then its not too cheap there. Also, I used to worry about my car leaving it on the street at night. I think your best bet would be to get something with a lock up garage. My mate who lives in a quite toorak street left his *cough* honda civic *cough* out in the street one night. Came out in the morning and it had been keyed along with every other car in the street.
